BUT....
Darzil is one of the few good men willing and able to lead decent MLs, and as I'm sure everybody knows ML4 is the one that requires the most people.. I'm not interested in hearing how any l33t ub3r players can complete it with only 3 groups, because if we're all honest with ourselves that viewpoint is completely and utterly irelevant; many attempting to get through the MLs now-a-days aren't even close to level 50, never mind decently equiped... and a lot, though I hate to say it, feel being afk is acceptable .. as long as they check the screen every so often others can do the work.
So, the only way in the current Prydwen climate to make this ML4 raid a success is as Darzil says to hope for about 7 full groups, certainly 5 as an absolute minimum.
likewise, the best chance of making the Dragon Raid a success is to ensure 3 groups of opted players.
On a good night, there are about 150 to 200 accounts logged in in Prydwen, a good 30% of them I would suggest are second accounts for bots, powerlevelling etc etc. Some can't/don't want to commit to the ML raid for many reasons. The bottom line is that it's so borderline at the best of times whether sufficient numbers can come, something like a dragon raid being planned at the same time puts a big question mark over whether the raid is feasible any more, just as Darzil points out. And visa versa!
A solution then!!!!!!!!
Bubble, I for one would be absolutely delighted, nay, ecstatic to help you with the dragon raid AND help Darzil with his ML4 raid.
If you can insist that anyone signing up for the dragon raid helps their realm-mates by also helping with ML4.. AT LEAST the Fortress of Storms encounter, then I'm sure that not only will Darzil's raid be a success, but so will your dragon raid, and everyone playing Prydwen/Albion will feel much more involved in what is such a great community. (everyone has noticed how little Albs seem to work together nowadays, and this is highlighted in RvR and our seeming inability and unwillingness to get groups together)
So.. my suggestion is this;
6:30... form up for ML4 SHARP, all those after ML4 credit PLUS all those signing up for Bubble's Dragon Raid.
6:45... Start ML4.2 fortress of storms. (even if Darzil's raid only manages to complete this single stage, the rest is relatively straightforward with a much smaller battlegroup and can be completed at a later date.)
9:00... If ML4 is not completed (or very VERY close to completed) then all those signed up on Dragon raid leave to go kick in Ole' Gole in his dragon-sized knacker.
From the perspective of Darzil's ML4 force, worst case scenario is that ML4.2 is at last done, and the rest can be done at a later date with far fewer and thus more likely attainable numbers. (Best case scenarion is ML4 completed.)
From the perspective of Bubble's Dragon Raiding force, worse case scenario is the Dragon gets killed and everyone gets their respec stones at 10 p.m. rather than at 8 p.m.
From BOTH perspectives, if this compromise isn't reached, then it's entirely possible neither raid will take place because of lack of numbers....
Co-operate people, and everyone's a winner.....![]()
Especially the damn Hibbies, who'll probably take all our flippin' keeps while we're out there.
