lol, reminds me of a teacher from my old school who blew up our chemistry lab cause he was making gun powder

He got sacked and they had to rebuild the entire basement, where the lab was, and build an addition to the school with a new lab

I remember over 20 years ago at school they gave us perspex safety glasses when we were cutting paper with scissors. Just in case a piece of paper sprang out and sliced an eye ball in half.

Wish they'd fuck off tbh, they made my chemistry lessons dull quite quickly after my tutor did the alkaline metals in water. The H&S Exec came in the following week apparently and went loony despite that particular experiments been carried out for years.
