way to get round the login server (only works if u havent patched to us version)
NOTE: this doesnt work for windows me (besides if you rrunning me you deserve to be shot ) also doesnt work for win 98 or 98se

works for windows 2003/ xp/ 2k

go into si folder create a txt file any name will do ill use bypass.txt for this example


type in this txt folder the following

login.dll
exit /y


save file and rename it to

bypass.bat

run that .bat and a login screen will appear just enter your login and password and play as normal

what I dont get is why people update to the US when you get a warning as your patcher updates...

Because Mythic has hardcoded it, and refuse to change that. GOA is not allowed to change hard coded code due to contract restrictions, and Mythic cant be arsed to allow them in this instance, or send them a small fix for it.

It takes mabe 5s to download the US patch and u never have time to react

my point exactly... you know that when it updates the patcher you shouldn´t run camelot.exe again because then you will get US patch

if you have an updated patcher you can still use the trick herbal mentioned, if you have downloaded the actual US patch you can´t

Bad Command or file name

c:\Shrouded Isles>exit /y
Invalid switch

Any ideas .... sensible ones please
