fuckign annoying

spent 20 mins makign the goddamn .conf file and i forgot the command to start it, tried ./ircd etc didnt work

does any1 know?

well first try ../configure instead... since you are in the wrong directory (you wanna go back one)

and should be --with-Cpath=<path to config>


I've never tried this undernet ircd or anything but those things look wrong

path should be /home/phyrex/ircu2.10/ircd/ right?
or home/phyrex/ircu2.10/ircd, phyrex/ircu2.10/ircd ?

You're going about it all wrong. Just start your normal IRC client, twice. Once for normal use. Now go to the second IRC client. Click disconnect (if you have auto connect). Then go DCC -> Options -> Connect. Then change Quakenet to Undernet and find a server from the list that is nearish to you. Press connect. Sorted.

i need to know what im doing wrong when installing my own irc server (using ircu2.10.11.04).
