if you are refering to the World Series it is called that because it was originally sponsored by a sports magazine that did cover world events ^^

and theres nothing wrong with being a Patriot (loving ones country) but theres a big difference between that and being a nationalist (hating anything not your country) at least thats always how i've viewed it ;)

Well, never said anything to that extent, quote context ;)

I would not worry, a quick gander at websites like stormfront and VNN show nationalists for what they are, at the moment they are saying the EDL is a "jew-front" of all things for burning a nazi flag.

English nationalism is fractured and the more extreme types are getting very upset with the more "moderate" types with things like "any man who wont swear and oath to hitler, the greatest white man who ever lived, is either a jew or a coward"

If they cant even organise themselves how can they ever hope to organise a country.

voting bnp or supporting edl is more than just voting for a more controlled immigration system

I know that but his comments are clearly aimed at a particular social demographic. The jobless council estate white man. He is as much of a bigot as the true racists, his form of bigotry is far more fashionable though.
Not wanting any more immigrants in the country is not racist, anyone who thinks it is should maybe try looking the word up to find out what it actually means. The country is going down the shitter for various reasons, an immigration system that fails both us and the immigrants is one of them.

Immigration is uncontrolled, why else would people travel across Europe to get here? Why not stay in France or Germany, or Italy? Why travel the extra 500+ miles and make another water crossing if the UK is just as regulated as the rest of Europe?

Have to agree here; being against immigration and being against immigrants isn't the same thing.

No where in his post did he say white man, you read into it too much, just as you read every post challenging your views as a claim of racism.

Until someone says OMG you are racist, maybe you should give it a rest?

Not wanting any more immigrants in this country is just a idealistic viewpoint, and completely unrealistic. And once again everyone has failed to distinguish between illegal immigration which can be a drain on our benefits system, and legal immigration which generates growth and taxes.

also your last comment about people travelling here(and specific to illegal immigration); no, tmost are travelling to any European country, it is simply that the policies of other Eruo countries funnel them this way.

I've no idea. But immigration for EU nationals is pretty much uncontrolled, as it is in all EU member states, for anyone who isn't an EU national it is much more stringent.

Perhaps people just come to England because it's great? Who wants to live in France when you can live in England?

A big problem for England is uncontrolled borders it is seemingly very easy to people traffic to England but im not sure how that can be beefed up short of more RN Ships stopping ships at sea and searching them.

I saw on the news a couple of weeks ago, where France and other European countries with sea borders have increased sea patrols in conjunction with us to stop these people getting into Europe illegally in the first place.

Dunno if the news reach UK, but in Italy and Spain, every other day a is intercepted with like 50 african inmigrants, even despite the joined efforts of national seaguards.

The tragic issue is that for every "kayak" that reaches the shore, 1 sinks with all passengers drowned (in middle fo the sea, with low temperatures, 50 persons travelling in an 8 seats kayak, and they dont know how to swim).

On the other hand, due to the pesky repatriation treatments with african nations, they dont carry any ID so they cannot be sent back to their home countries, and lots of them end up in the streets or in saturated acceptance centers :(

When aasked about why they risk their lives for an uncertain future, most od the times linked with poverty and homless lifes, they answer that in their home countries, the situation is far worst, so even a pariah life in EU is better than a life in their countries.

However, theres a limit of inmigrants a nation can absorb, and imho, Europe nations are reaching (if not already reached) that limit.

That's good you stop Illegal immigration and Racial Segregation (often by choice) and you average Joe could become a bit happier with migrants.

Interesting article in the Times today, saying the Home Office has "lost track" of 40,000 immigrants who were refused visa's to stay.

That to me says immigration into England is uncontrolled, on top of the reports last week that 75% of those sent back to Afghanistan werent allowed off the plane because there paperwork was wrong and so came all the way back to England.

This is the kind of thing thats getting people (well me anyway) mad, how much money are Labour wasting on chartering a plane and all the minders etc to fly them all to Afghanistan only to fly all the way back again, and how many staff are there at the Home Office that are supposed to be managing migrants, to lose 40,000.

It's a farce, again.....

They are too extreme but some of the so called policies make some sense. After years of Labour I get the feeling I should apologise to the entire world for being English and middle class. Luckily I never voted for them and never will. Glad other people have finally seem them for what they are!

Its funny hiow the Sun is handling all this.

First, Jade Goody was a dumg Cockney, next she is a racist, next she is a saviour of all things womanly.

Same with immigartion, one minute the Sun is all for kicking out illegal immigrants, as soon as a party with aims of doing so gets a sniff at power, it jumps on the anti-facist bandwagon and is against the BNP.

With the election coming up shortly, I thought i would go through this thread and have a good read.

I cannot see the BNP/EDL gaining any more seats this time round, unless the labour heartlands like Yorkshire and the Humber have a massive swing and decide not to vote Labour, yet are so anti Tory, they vte for minority parties like the BNP and Green party
