I spend over £100 pounds on single items every month, Mostly on J Lindeberg stuff because I like the style of it. I dont mind paying money for something that I will get value from, Diesel jeans for instance are very comfortable and the pair I bought last year for £165 still have a lot of wear in them.

Saying that I get all my shirts for work from Primark because they do the job, £3.50 for a shirt, it can get ink on the sleeves or toner every where and it does not matter. Just go and buy another one.

I buy what I like and feel comfortable wearing as long as I can afford it. It becomes a problem when you are buying stuff you cant actually afford.

I suppose I'm a little anal when it comes to CERTAIN clothing....I've got an obsession for Leather Jackets; which I've had 2 of (most recent I bought was £150, where as my other was near the £260 mark - lasted me 5 years) and as I said, suits.

Hell, I've got 2-3 pairs of Jeans from George/MNS which has lasted me more than anything else I own. Cheap as hell, fit and can buy a new pair for less than £6.

"ZOMG, my new shoes I brought last week for £100 have a stain! my moms gonna flip" - THAT is what I hate, they're shoes ffs =<

I pretty much buy all my clothes from Topman, River Island.. places like that..

but i do ofc go to shops like primark to pick up cheap stuff =]

I like the look of firetrap clothes and I tend to buy them... only stuff like jumpers, t-shirts and shirts for going out though not stuff like jeans, and even then its very rarely. Because t-shirts and jumpers last for ages... I've got a firetrap jumper I got when I was 13 and I still wear it. With jeans I go through about a pair a month, because they always drag on the fucking floor and get ripped to shreds, so I just go to burton's and buy them. When I'm in burtons and if I see something I like, a jumper or a couple of t-shirts I'll buy them.

I know when I buy from a store it is original, Also alot of the jeans I buy differ from normal sizes so always best to try them on with a belt/nice t-shirt first.

I used to care about brands and stuff, but thats when I was a kid, and kudos in the playground/class wherever was far more important than how clever you were.

However, I was a bright kid and my parents were a) very tight b) didn't "get" brands, and c) Didn't give a shit about whether I got beat up for wearing stead and simpson own brand trainers as long as I got a B or above in all my grades.

I remember when I got a clothing allowance, and saved it up for 2 months to get my first pair of Nike trainers

However, most of that was just backlash against my parents (who were a bit odd to say the least - I was brought up on a practically vegan diet for several years, and we weren't allowed to have a TV) and after about 6 months caring about whether I wore Levi's jeans or Dorothy Perkins jeans I gave it up.

I will buy branded stuff if the brand makes a difference to the quality, comfort and/or fit (i.e. I only wear Vans trainers because the others rarely fit me, stupid wide feet...), but otherwise I don't give a shit as long as its black and fits me

What he said, but I'll elobrate in saying that I'm trendy and materialstic, that's a deadly combination cuz I can spend allot of money on clothes. And yes I do buy brands and designer clothes because they do have nice quality clothes. That doesn't mean that all my stuff is designer, I buy stuff in H&M or Him or whatever the fuck, it's not that I don't care if I have to pay 10€ or 100€ for a shirt, it's just that most stuff I find are branded or designer.

I stayed a mate's place who was the housekeeper of the guy behind Ted Baker (he had one hell of a crib whoot btw). I never heared about Ted Baker, because there aren't any stores in Belgium, but shit, I went shopping crazy having 30% discount in those stores

I just get reasonable priced non-brand clothes and mix and match to make nice outfits. Get noticed much more for how I look than for what brand I wear.

i dont care on brands for clothes if i like an item of clothing or pair of shoes (once on, not just on the hanger), and i can afford them, they are mine.
however, on some other goods i will only buy specific brands products. its because they are quality and you know it will be much better than competitors. a really crap example is that IMO, green & blacks chocolate is much better than cadburys. if i can get green & blacks, i'd take that instead of the cadburys shit. (i know, its the same company now blah blah)

Mostly I wear jeans and t-shirts however I like jeans that fit me (hard when you're a lanky streak of piss like me) and I like my jeans to be well made so I buy Levis or Wranglers. I don't like cheap no-name shoes because the pain of badly made shoes isn't worth not spending the few extra bucks to get a decent pair of Cons or Docs.
I think that wearing a label for the sake of wearing a label is crass and makes you look like a chav. I understand the point about wanting well made clothes but a t-shirt with a big ass Armani logo (or whatever) all over it is basically the clothes equivalent of a penis extension - you're insecure and you want people to know that you can afford labels. True class and style isn't about being a billboard for a sportswear/fashion company, it's about wearing clothes that have actual style to them. For example, I have a really nice Pierre Cardin shirt I wear for interviews and so forth, it cost more than my next two most expensive shirts combined and apart from a very discreet embroidered logo on the pocket the same colour as the shirt, it has no visible label on it - just the way I like it.

I only buy Lacoste, Henri Lloyd or Stone Island for casual wear. For evening wear im not too fussy because you can buy really nice shirts for £30 or £40, although I am a sucker for armani shirts

I do not follow fashion trends so i won't buy a brown shirt because every one else is no. And shirts trousers and jeans i will wear any that fell comfortable marcs and sparcs tesco asda or armani i dont care

But i do over spen on t shirts trainers joggers ect because i buy all nike stuff

I don´t care about brands. However, I´ve learned that it *usually* pays off to buy high quality products even if they´re more expensive, simply because they´re lasting longer. To an extend, this is true for clothes as well, especially shoes.

okay fair nuff, dragged jeans due to short ass legs (read same problem as my wife). you CAN get medium legs with that waist though, but i will admit its more difficult.
