Perhaps someone can setup another coalition with: VaeFH, DaveNate, dysfunction, Teedles and Eszencia/TaB?

I created one and invited those guys. Let's coordinate our resources and stuffs.

The 1st coalition, I believe, is just waiting on Saveh and MysticG to click through the last screen after they've died so they can be marked as 'available'. This will then allow the 5 of us to join a town together.

@TdC: What's the state of the second coalition? Do you want us to wait for you so we can try and coordinate joining a town together, or do you want to just play your own game for the time being? On average a town only survives 4 nights

no worries dude. I guess that all of coalition2 are noobs, myself most of all. I am currently in a random town (iirc the first one you get) trying to work out how the game works.

Yep, that's right. If you maroon yourself in the desert you will die then can join a new town.

Re: the other members in your coalition, they will all have to be dead and have left their last dying comments for that town to be classed as 'available' (this can be seen from the coalition screen. Once all 5 of you are 'available' and someone joins a new town, the other 4 will follow as long as you join a new town with 35 players or less.

Once we know whether ppl are liking the game or not, we can try and get all our coalitions joining the same town. Will take a bit of coordination from here, but do-able.

Our coalition (Chilly, Saveh, MysticG, Temper and I) joined a town earlier - but it really is terrible - lots and lots of ppl wounded by running away from zombies :-/ We're contemplating suiciding tonight so we can start elsewhere tomorrow.

Oh, btw - useful tip, and something I tend to post into the forums when I start a new town - Die2Nite Guide: Do's and Don'ts.

If 3-4 ppl in our town had read the above before venturing outside they wouldn't have got wounded running away from zombies.

harsh. I'm in a town full of lone wolfs, with exactly two people trying to work for the good of all.

I've learned:
- get the workshop asap
- if you want to eat marshmellows you need a source of fire
- people will steal anything from the community

mmmmkay so the retrads in my former town actually managed to leave the gate open and now everyone is dead I guess :/

I managed to get mashed by the horde while out in the desert, so that's fine with me. TaB, should I join your town, or what? Noc0de, which town are you in?

I was in a town called 'the cryptic echo' - but I took a walk in the desert as did Temper.

I think Chilly, Saveh and MysticG were safe in the town.

Not sure what we are going to do. Going to have to wait another day before they're dead. However, Temper and I could join a town and let you know what we join - see if you could join it aswell? I'll have to wait until Tempers online later tonight/tomorrow.

Fair enough mate. I thought there was a way to coordinate joining the same town as that's what I've heard happening with 'meta-coalitons'. Perhaps if someone was a 'hero' (paying user) that's possible as I think you get to pick.

Let's leave it for now, and see how many Freddies are still interested in the game over the next week or two. I'm sure we can coordinate in the long run, even if that means having a hero in each coalition to do the joining. Myself and Temper currently have hero status so if there's enough interest we could just each run a coalition - and as we're mates in 'rl' coordination would be made easier.

Let's see how it all goes...

Think we picked a town yesterday, but Temper and I thought it was so dire we suicide. Saveh and Chilly didn't and are still alive, but are probably going to die tonight unless the town has suddenly pulled itself together.

Perhaps you didn't spawn to start with and pick your class? You're likely to spawn and then die in the next 20 mins anyway
