Diablo 2 mod: MedianXL

Anyone else play/has played this? Currently got a lvl 64 paladin and only just killed Baal on normal

Having great fun atm and it's an amazing mod! It's like playing a totally different game and can't wait to take on the uberquests, get the sacred items and set-items

But would like to play with others in an open b-net game, so if anyone is interested or is already playing please tell me

Normal D2 didn't really do it for me last time I tried it, but after I installed this mod, I am totally hooked again

How's the poison sorc levi? Btw don't go full poison, because if something is immune to poison you're fucked

People keep talking about melee sorcs, so I might try that next

Used to, but at lvl 82 I died and it felt like all the time I had spent on the char was wasted, which it was

And in MedianXL i doubt you can play HC as there are BOOM!!!!! You're dead.. That's how fast it can go

This differs from old school 32k modem diablo how?

Lagspikes, teleports to unknown locations etc. Boom, dead. Fun!

Softcore isn't even challenging when you can just up and run back.

PAnsies quit the game when they're about to die, real men spam 1234 as fast as they can and then blame some random person for the death

The main point is though;

Don't know about vista, but you can certainly play with others aswell, just needs to be on open battle.net and you can't play with regular ppl.. Needs to be with others who are also running MedianXL

ah well i'll try install diablo 2 now and see if it runs, fingers crossed.

I run it with vista fine. Says compatibilty issues but still works fine.
