Ok thanks for reply,

Hmm not sure about questing through classic again, will probably get bored, so think ill get 20 asap then try lvl in DF, always loved lvling in there.

Yes starting at lvl1, hence why i thought Task Dungeon might be easier

One Time Drops, refresh my memory please, are they off the named mobs?

They are, though he won't be referring to the old ones like Tusker's Blade from Tusker in Cornwall :p There's quite a few OTD's worth plats in Labyrinth

These are all generally quite easy to get, with Agramon's needing a somewhat optimal 8 man group or zerg, rest can be done with 2-8 people

Task Dungeons are crap in comparison. You get 200% xp in Frontiers (behind milegates is a good place to xp at 20). You also get 200% in Darkness Falls.

Classic zones give 150% xp so if you're a level 1 it may be best to start there.

Best way to make money is from One Time Drops...although you may want to keep some of these as they are very nice. Also dragon runs have some of the best loot in the game.

oh yeah, from 40-48 you can do a repeatable quest (takes 15 minutes and gives 2 bubs). At 48-50 you can do a Supplies quest (repeatable too) which gives really nice xp too!

Do you have alist of mobs which drop thse OTD?

Also the quickest ive done the repatable quest is 6mins 15 secs by using guild house port, and personal bind port to innis carthaig :) Also had a chanter at the spot pbaeing mobs so I didnt have to run the full way around the map, then I just went and did the supply quests. Took about 15mins for 2.5 bubs at 49

See my post/links above for OTD's

Btw, 49>50 in ~35mins;

Complete the "Saving Zarees" quest (google it!)
Journey to your dragon zone, complete the first quest (outside of the aggresive camp) to make the camp turn neutral. Enter camp, accept the "A Letter for Home" quest. Bind at the dragon camp. Equip the Foil hat you received from Saving Zarees, you're now 5 seconds away from where you hand in this quest. Hand it in, port to your City, drop your personal bind recall stone on the floor and get another from the Royal Treasury Clerk in the main building (i.e. Alainn Cur for Hibernia), use the recall stone and complete the quest. Repeat. This nets you 0.35 of a bub per hand-in, and takes 13-22 seconds per run depending on the realm, Mid can do it in 9 if you're really quick ^^

The amount of handins you can do is faction based, once you reach friendly.99%, kill one or two guards at said camp and you'll be able to repeat the quest another 5-7 times.

Macros I use for this :p
/macro city /s [enter realm city here]
/macro bind /s personal bind recall stone

Dropping the stone for a new one resets the cooldown~

Not a class I'd play, but they're decent for solo & small man. I have no idea about specs but I know there's quite a few that work, spec depending on playstyle/solo/groupage

Heretic is in the top 3-5 of powerful 8v8 classes imo, almost all strong grps on german cluster runs 1. Best RA setup of any class, solid dmg, ace interupts, good survival, insane util.

Nvm found 1 of your old posts about Heretic specs, so will try that

"50Flex/50Enh, +CoZ/SCW/EP/CTR, 101 str/dex, 240 hits, 10/9/4, +11 shield"

That spec is old school, now with changes u want: 43 enh 42 shield 47 rej for 8v8 action for solo/zerg u recon u lower shield raise flex to 34 and rej to 48

I wasn't trying to indicate heretics' aren't good for 8v8, I just didn't say if they were good or bad because I do not know, been out of the 8v8 scene for a while

Good or Bad class? Hard to master? YES if u dont have patiance or friends to pug with u have a steep patch ahead of u to convince randoms of the heretics and ur own worth.

Just reading through this thread really makes me want to roll a char :D - Anyone able to tell me how do i go about buying a US account with all of the content etc and roughly how much it'll set me back?

My Prydwen char was Asmodean the Minstrel if anyone remembers me :)

Start by going here

You can start with a 14 day free trial. Once that is up you can buy the two extra expansions (DR and LotM) for $20 each or $30 if you buy them together.
