I've just started running about on us daoc as well, war and everything else just isnt a patch on daoc even after all these years

With regards to how fast Afran did it, yes this is possible.

Just a couiple of things though;

Class - Obviously some level slower than others, but it's not like you have to solo. Getting to 40 is easy, then you can run the repeatable quest for 2 bubs and 110g

ML's - You can buy these with BP's, people on the server seem to organise ML1-9/10 every couple of weeks, however i've not been on the server long so it may be more frequent than that.

Arte's - these are super easy now, Cloudsong can be killed with a necro and bot in a couple of minutes, same with most arte's. Any you cant do or cant be bothered to do (i cba to do egg of youth), you can spend about 500ish BP's and buy the credit

Arte scrolls - Scrolls can be purchased by anyone with BP's. Some people will buy you some books for free, some may ask for a little gold.
1 of 3 costs 10BP
2 of 3 costs 100bp
3 of 3 costs 200bp

If you check housing and buy any 2of3 or 3of3 which are cheap, then get someone to spend 10bp's on the 1of3

CL's, if you have a couple of people (we had cleric, thuerg, wiz) you can do the champion level quests. You get between 2-4 bubs of CL xp per quest and you get around 5-7plat after the first main chunk. By this I mean you go defend the king. You can get CL3-4 from these quests and it only takes a few hours.

How long does it take to reach end game on Devon? I'd have to start from scratch.

A dozen or so dragon raids and half decent luck on rolls (8 man raids, you win something sellable every other kill) and you're sorted. Just roll one of the needed classes - hunter, shaman or healer - as an alt, levelling takes no time.

There's weekly TG raids on mid/devon too so if you win one of the new vests you can get a nice price for them

I've got a buttload of BPs so if anyone needs scrolls on mid/devon just gimme a shout

All depends on ur demands, if u want a temp that is the BEST then u have weeks of farming, if u settle for a decent temp and have a bit of luck with MLs then u can be done in a week

I've always been Mid or Alb when it came to the rvr servers, do love the hib classes but i've found it such a struggle to find places to xp hence being on alb.

Oh blimey, there is a Hib equivolent! Cannot imagine the VN flames/spam that goes on! It's nice though because it helps the people who're still getting templated make some RP's.

Nah, not a hib equivilant just they have alot of high rr's with the jpn's grp (Takasy/Silentshan etc) combining with the big guild zergs like Eader's etc means that they are a heavy force when they want to me, know about 2 months ago no albs would rvr as we simply didnt have anything, no ports and no relics because hibs walked in alb and took everything with ease.
