even this logical thinking you speak of, i dont think its you deciding without a previous factor influencing it.
the decision is already made, and youre simply catching up to the point in time where the decision is actioned.
now i think about it, its similar to how donnie darko was when it gets to the part where he is being led by the "tunnels".
he believes hes making a choice to go somewhere but what the tunnels are showing is that the path is already determined. through each step in time, hes coming to a point where the action is becoming 'reality' and so giving an impression that he decided it him self. because he could not see into the future before he believes hes making the choice, but the time tunnels show otherwise. so the time tunnels are showing the future, and so he can see he has not decided anything.
