Dem GFX cards

I went for this one http://www.ebuyer.com/584216-corsair-cs650m-modular-650w-atx-psu-cp-9020077-uk Had it a week, nice and simple to set up and comes with loads of different cables for various set ups. Very quiet too.

Actually, slight grumble was the SATA power cables aren't the longest but I have a stupid Cosmos S case and the drive bays are about 30 metres from the PSU so the cable management went a bit wonky.

Sounds good to me. Ordered.

Currently run a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 GHz Edition, it replaced a returned 290x which besides coil whine started to suffer other problems such as turning off and that is my second failed AMD card with the last 4 cards being: 5870(failed)->580(replaced 5870)->R290x(failed)->780(replaced 290x) so it'll probably be my last AMD card for some time.

@TdC what do you use to check fps in Games. Going to put mine through its paces this weekend.

hey dude I just see if I can turn FPS stats on via game console or something. comparing (dis)similar cards needs some kind of standardized benchmark, but when you just want to see what you're doing then ingame FPS at your own desired settings seems good enough for me tbh. I've been told that Fraps can also do that for you, ie tell you what your frame rate is, and perhaps Nvidia shadowwhatzit can do so too?
