It's 2-3 weeks since i deleted... you guys should try :)

No more addiction, it's great :)

I was about to return when i saw spellcraft was out .. ooo i thought, loaded my lvl 1 mage, ran to camelot.. lagged like HELL .. i was like.. !? ..

I don't lie when i say i saw 100 people standing at the spellcraft-table.. i wasn't expecting that many :)

And when i couldn't start spellcrafting, cos i was a lvl 1 mage (some how), i didn't even wanted to start..

You'll have 234234235345 spellcrafters in no time :)

Depends on if you look at it as 'work' or a game where you play to spend time :p

Though I wouldn't need to delete my char to be able to spend less time in this game.

I found my endless hours wasted on the game a problem .. that's why i deleted.

It's a great feeling afterwards :) .. then you get bored... and after a while you find new stuff to do ..

Soon got myself a new relationship, i hope.. atleast i got a new friend who im very happy to be able to meet.. (damn my english suck 3 am :p)

I`ve stopped playing but couldn`t bear the thought of deleting my characters.

I don't see the point in deleting the characters. All you need to do is cancel your account and *poof* everything get's put on ice. I haven't played for about 2 months now, but my characters are still there for me when I return (because, oh yes, I will). It's not like you have to pay or anything and the account can stay on ice indefinitely (neither mythic nor goa has ever deleted characters on a cancelled account).

The characters aren't stored on your computer either so it's extra convenient. You can for sakes argument stop playing DAoC, travel the world, get a million chicks, build a career, conquer alien worlds or whatever. My point is humans seldom know where they will be in one years time, it's pretty impossible to tell because anything can happen. You never know if you want to play DAoC again (I'm pretty familiar with this on/off thing after playing MMORPG's for some years now).

So my point is, there is no point in actually deleting (unless you get some sick pleasure from destroying something you have built of course). Instead go to GOA's site and cancel that account.

Been there, done that.

Now i have a level 50 a level 42 and a level 27 :p

But, i dont regret deleting, helped me alot and i really dont wanna know how my life would be now if i hadnt deleted at first....

But, if you dont stop trolling the forums you WILL reroll :p <--(speaking from experience ;) )

I just went for the middle ground. Deleted all my chars ( I was SO bored of Midgard) and restarted on Alb to see what thats like and Im enjoying the game again.

Would you even do that if you had 2 lvl 50s and one with 1000+ wc and a well known reputation? :)
