Yeah its a known bug/feature that pets seem to go 'oh crap, mobs on me and far away from master - zoooooooom'.

I'd quite like to try ae dot pulling with a shaman, not only will the dot do a bit of damage, but its alot quicker than pet pulling. Unfortunately you dot get a dot until 23 cave iirc.

Seems many have forgotten the RM has better speed than healers and that is baseline speed aswell.

kedal, then you where most likely doing draks, and the yber speed is dependant on range (1500 or further from caster) and caster speed, a good puller can do draks without probs with healer speed a first timer can do it with rm/skald speed . we wherent able to do it on either hags or svartalfs with healer 1 speed at least, and considering how hard it is to find good spots anyway with this group (we did this lvl 8-50) i whouldnt replace speed with another sm. it is however an option to have the rm swap betwean pbt/speed but demanding something like that for 30 lvls of PvE is just wrong . I whould defenetly go with 2 healers 1rm/skald 1 sup rm and 4 sm:s if i did it again, i still think insta heals increase xp rate alot more than buffs cause frankly theres no spot that supports the max killrate of this group except lair, so the only way to increase xp is cutting back on deaths.

This is really sad, no matter how many times i say i don't want a discussion on the perfect PBAE group, you people just can't resist can you?

I really don't care what you think. I've played in a PBAE group to 50 in under 2 weeks, so i do have some experience. Everyone has their own interpretation of what works best, mainly based on what groups they have played in. Has every player played in every possible combination of classes? No, ofcourse not.

What you feel is the ideal group is COMPLETELY irrelevant because I am asking people to volunteer what classes they want to play, and from that we can try and engineer a PBAE group.

Anyone else that comments on PBAE combinations really needs to get a life...

u want 2 warriors, 3 sms, 1 healer, 1 rm and 1 shammy aug/mend ofc for end regen and friggs, then if the power using classes knows how to take care of power u can pretty much chain at a calm pace. a shield specced warrior with 2 healing classes as backup, pbt, and friggs/specbuffs can tank 2 purp mobs nicely and never run out of end.

thanes sucks for everything, end of story, they arent worth it at all not even with the insta pbae thing. bullox it bl0ws

if u want, u can replace 1 sm with zerker and rely a bit more on melee damage and end regen than pbaepower (less downtime basicly, power will claim some rest eventually)..

ah, and another quite important thing, u need to respec at lvl 40, u wont have any respecs at lvl 50.

and why not use the best pull skill ever, nearsight?
