I knew she had a cancer diagnosis a while ago, but didn't realise it was 30 years, not that old, no, but quite a survivor considering.

Sad though, those trousers at the end of Grease were a formative experience for adolescent me!

I used to do the same in the morning - my mum would have the news on.

I react in utter horror now when the o/h's parents come round and turn the fucking telly on first thing in the morning. It's made doubly bad when I see the quality of breakfast news broadcasting.

No TV in my house until tea time - and even then I'm somdtimes a little resentful of it as the action of sitying down and doing fuck all/being so passive makes me feel like my life has ended for the day.

Shame he's so young tho.
