I was level 36 by the time I did overtime mode, and got to level 49 after doing zombie Genocide.

I've only been playing it for about a average of an hour a day aswell heh.

Ah life is woe, With my Dead Rising broke and it being 6pm on a weekend so I have no chance of getting hold of Gameplay its gonna be a long and boring night.

It really does seem that the case has cracked the disc, as the crack has formed on the print side of the disc forming from center, I have e-mailed them and I will phone them up on Monday.

More bad news, seems my 360 is broke, it keeps freezing on TDU now and the disc is fine.

No worries as I have a 3 year warranty, problem is its with Dixons, and the one i got it from is now a currys digital, wondering if currys will exchange it?

I'm afraid Dead Rising will have to stay in it's case until I can get a HD-TV sometime next year. I just can't read the story text and it's annoying the hell out of me

Doing some reading up, Capcom admit to not testing on SD-TVs and that there will be no patch as it would be to big cause they'd have to enlarge all the text. Sounds like bollocks to me. Probably got a deal with Samsung to force HD-TVs on everyone

TBH i didn't have HDTV when i first got my 360 then after months of everyone saying the games look alot better i caved in and bought a 32inch sammy.

Now i can compare the two the 360 simply isn't worth owning without one.

You could just get a big LCD TV doesn't have to be HD (seeing as the sky channels fucking suck anyway) you can get 32'' for around 3-400 and the picture looks just as good tbh.

You can always get a Budget HDTV, Just use a monitor and hook it up to the 360 via VGA.

You can get 19" wide screen LCD's for about £140 now.

3 weeks back i got a LG26" RX tv from richer sounds for £399 as this other tv i wanted they didnt have in stock. so i got lucky but now i wish id waited and got this tosh isntead supposed to be a very good LCD tv that is better than the sammy you have, search for WL66T if you want one with freeview

Far be it for me to pimp. But Woolies have a 32" Technosonic tv going for £399.99 this weekend. HDCP over HDMI, DVI input, VGA input, s, video, component, composite and 2 scarts. And it looks rather nice as well in matt black. Get em while you can. £20 delivery charge if you want it delivered to your house, but no delivery charge if you pick it up from your nearest Woolies. Bargain.

re badged sagem lcd tvs from last year, those had preety high faliure rate as well but they do offer 1:1 pixel map over hdmi rather dvi and prolly ideal for HTPCs if you get a flawless one. also has hdmi 1.1 spec

Not sure what to do with it, as I've done most of Dead Rising.

Waiting on Splinter Cell now.

You will have to buy a lead to get sound though when i plugged my 360 into my monitor i didn't get any sound.

I am using my monitor for 360, but I have component inputs and a monitor that supports 720p and 1080i via them.

According to forum reports, people using the VGA input do not get as sharp a picture or colour when compared to component inputs, but at least you are not playing at 480 anymore

Aada: Everyone should be using an extra lead for sound! You are missing out on the 360 experience if you are not hooking your 360 up to a hd display and a 5.1 receiver.

I use a 19" widescreen monitor via VGA for my 360.

I got this one Acer AL1916WS

But you can also try this one, as it has DVI-D and VGA Hewlett Packard

Its nice and sharp, and also alot cheaper than getting a HDTV, the Colour looks fine to me, as you can always change things like brightness and contrast from most game options, as it varies game to game.
