I heard that PvP in EQ is basically a "who paid for more retarded expansion packs" competition, with the winner (most packs) being neutered IRL by a special commando unit. With bolt-cutters.

eq is 100% none pvp... anyone that plays it for its pvp is an idiot. its all pvm, dungeon raiding, grouping.. item hunting etc. which yea, sounds uber boring, but somehow they've made it 'so' fun its painful.

pvp in eq is ONLY when either people /duel you, or when you step into a duelling arena with another person.. in other words, u dont do it unless its all set up. which is good, there are VERY few dick heads in the game.

Uh-huh. I guess I was saying I can't understand carebears. Gaheris = EQ (except less so, obviously, but the same concept applies) and I really can't see the attraction of Gaheris. Even if there is massively more PvE content.
