DAoC US Servers

Ok I been thinking about coming over to the US servers...

Who is where and who would like me to join them?

I think i'll play Solo or find a decent Scout duo partner

Again I want to play a stealther as I love the stealth side of things.

Also how do you change the client from EU to US?

just dont.... for us ex EU players.. playing on american servers is easy mode... you would just get bored of killing the same stupid people all the time.. sounds daft but happens.

as for how u download it... had to get mine from the mythic us site...doesnt take long really

a player like you tho... could rack up rr12+ within months... i was to be fair an ordinary player on eu servers (was my organisational stuff got me where i was) ... but on us servers i was uber... not coz i had changed.. but the quality of the opposition was utter shit

Not sure who you know, so I won't recommend people I know on there doing stuff, to answer the other client issue assuming you're using LOTM, go into your game folder and find your update.dat file. Open it in Wordpad and change it from:

patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/labyrinth/mpatch.dat
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/labyrinth/mpatch.dat

to

patch.daoc.net:1280/updates/labyrinth/mpatch.dat
patch.daoc.net:1280/updates/labyrinth/mpatch.dat

I'd personally keep a copy of your whole EU folder if you have room just in case. Other than that should work fine.
