this sounds cool, if i can find a car boot sale close by me, i will deffo take part. Ive only been to one b4, and felt a bit weird rummaging through second hand stuff :/ and even worse when they expected you to haggle them down from 75p to 50.

Heh, Im gonna do this. We have one of the largest Car boot sales in the country near us (Hemswell Cliff).

Mrs Wil might have a go too, if thats ok, but Im not gonna let her register on here, cos then she'll know who I am. So to speak.

It was something to do, and worst out come is I lose a bit of money and have a laugh, and I think most entertainment falls into that category. So here comes my carboot buys....

She-Ra VHS video, episodes The Crystal Castle and The Missing Axe, 50p

Photograph of someones dog in a genuine fake gold plastic frame. Dog is probably deceased now. 20p

I got an ancient reel 2 reel tape recorder. Cost: £1

Still works although it's missing a plug. But it's so cool that it takes batteries and I powered it up and the tape it came with has got some church service on it. Utterly bizarre!

He says its a church service, but when he first got it going the speeds were all wrong, and it reminded me of that awful Ghostwatch tape recording. Sinister.

I nearly bought a china clown sitting cross legged with a light bulb protuding phallicly, and in many ways wish I had, for whose life can be complete without one? The woman selling it told me "they don't make them like that anymore" and I agreed, probably because it looked like it would electricute you, and secondly because it would traumatise anyone who is unlucky enough to see if swathed in its unnatural glow. I love carboot sales.

Come on then Summo, if we're meant to give you sympathy, give us symptoms to fluffle you over. Cos if its a hangover you get No Sympathy Mister!
