Custom News Reader Android

Looking for a news widget that can fetch me the latest science & technology stories from custom sources (eg CERN, NASA, National Geographic, Engadget, BBC Technology, Lifehacker, etc). Widget has got to look tidy, with pics and a brief headline that open up the full story on tapping.

Anyone recommend anything that might suit?

Tried a few out, but the ones I've tried disappoint (eg widget only supports one news feed at a time, limited widget size, not scrollable, very slow load/refresh rate, app doesn't allow you to search for feeds by just typing NASA in, meaning you have to search for the specific RSS URL which it then tells you is not a valid RSS/atom feed URL!). A lot of them look ugly & clunky (poorly laid out, garish colours, on horrid white backgrounds, etc)

The search goes on for a decent news aggregator widget....

How about taptu

Can add a widget to home screens and it can grap news stories from loads of sources.
