Curious, curious........... Items in Mid/Hib/Alb

After reading http://forums.barrysworld.com/showthread.php?threadid=52933 I was surprised to say the least.

Some Mid got an item with 4x 10% resists ON A QUEST (read: fucking easy to get). That's 80.0 utility.

I am not sure, but I don't think Albion has any jewelry with 80.0 utility. And certainly not from a quest.

One of the best quest-items I know in Albion is the Veiled Bracer of Eyes (3x 8% resists, 15 hp) and the Bracer of Health (6,8,6% resists, 30 hp) but that doesn't come close to 4x 10%.

Not wanna start a 'OMG that's unfair,FFS nerf' thread, but I am curious: Are there any real high utility jewelry in Midgard and Hibernia?

Just wanna compare a bit, that's all :)

BTW, forgetting the 'quite rare' drop from pygme goblins. It's a gem with 4x 7% resists and doesn't drop very often. You actually need to farm them for hours on average to get one.

Major Changes to Ancestral Secrets Quest

The long awaited changes to the Ancestral Secrets quest in Midgard are finally here. Here’s what we did to allow all players a chance to get the coveted Beaded Resisting Stones as well as the other random rewards.

We have made the quest Ancestral Secrets repeatable. If you have already completed the quest once you may go back to Ota Yrling in Aegirhamn and get it again. The rewards are still given out randomly after you are teleported by Jaklyr, and you may only get each random reward once. Once you have all three random rewards, Ota will no longer give out the quest.

The standard rewards for the quest have not changed. Players that complete the quest two or more times will not be offered the standard rewards at the end of the quest. Instead they will receive a small amount of experience and a decent amount of gold.

Other important changes to this quest:

- The Ancestral Keeper’s level has been raised. Taking a few friends with you is advised.

- The Beaded Resisting Stones are now flagged NO TRADE because everyone now has the chance to get the Necklace for themselves.

There is an Albion and a Hibernian version of this quest. The Albion version is called The Lost Stone of Arawn and begins with Honayt’rt in Wearyall Village. The Hibernian version is called The Lost Seed and begins with Terod in Droighaid. Each quest offers a version of the Beaded Resisting Stones as well as the other two random rewards.
