the police officers grudingly tell you what they know, that it was handled by the state motor patrol and they are based on Springfield, so you should probably go and see them for more info, the only local bit of information was he passed through here , presumably to meet a friend or maybe visiting the embassy, and rented a car before leaving town
After some investigation you discover that he rented his car from Banks Autos, owned by Paul Banks. You discover that there are 3 rental companies in Boston. The car he hired was a 1920 Pierce Arrow. They know he is dead, and the car was never recovered. He seemed fine if in something of a hurry. He was dressed normally. He paid cash which isnt unusual, $100 deposit, and $10/day. Apparently the insurance company dont think the car was worth $500, and with no sign of it, are unsure if they want to pay up.
