I cant understand peoples recentment towards warloc and i do hate the class as well.

If you cant understand the resentment the class genreates but hate the class yourself, hmm that dosent sound logical to me.

But i have no trouble seperating the two concepts. but there is much frustration in this game and people do take it very seriously whether they admit it or not. And thats what causing all thsi anger. It seems to be a thorn in peoples rl pride when they get killed by something a lot in the game..and especially if they are higher rr and got respect for being good players and they cant compete against certain classes. Everyone gets farmed by castesr a lot though and its frustrating for everyone hehe.
Anyhow....its a game people

Im gonna make an assumption here.. most players i assume dont mid dying to high RR or respected players. Its when a player has both these qualities and wtfpwns you with the most retarded OP class in DOAC history and then struggles to understand the mentality behind players posts.

The real rvr players will always be competetive and take the game seriously , thats what drives the rvr communtiy.. All competetive players want a shot at winning a fight no matter what the odds, and tbh against most general melee classes and mage classes this oppertunity exists. Yes you may die cause the odds of winning are low but atleast you can go down swinging knowing you took a chance. With warlocks this just dosent exist, there is no peace of mind once they toast you, its insta death in seconds to a player that hasnt had to press more then 1 button. Its this that eats away at the very heart of the competetive minded player and draws them to these boards to express their frustrations.

well i do think the warlock class adds some excitement to rvr at times. takes very fast reactions to be able to survive one unloading by many people in the group (DI, stun, nearsight, mez)

but then again, since the class is free for all, there is fucking hordes of them running all over the place. there's more warlocks in insta-rvr situation then hypocrits on these forums. counting all of them would mean id die of age before im done.

would be fun if there'd be one ridiculessly OP class like warlock in each realm, but limit it to 1-2 of them in an rvr zone at any time. and i mean proper OP, like the pre-pre-prenerf warlocks. hell, make the 4xx value bolt instacast too for all i care. just need a way to prevent every sore loser and worthless crybaby to roll a wl and fuck up rvr for everything else.

Also i agree with most of what ur saying. I just have to disagree with people calling the players behind the character retards for playing it. People have to realise that characters and styles you play doesnt charactarise ur behaviour in rl...and if it does it may be coinsidences. I know this cause of all the people i got to know on a more personal level in this game, they are decent and good people and no matter how when and with how many they kill my hero i wont start disliking them casue i have the distance to see the difference between rl actions and in game actions
On other hand i understand frustration as i said, and can feel myself at times in game. But that shouldnt go past just that imo
