Has anyone ever done this full CS combo?...>>>

Evade>Hamstring>Leaper>Rib Seperation>Ripper

Is it worth bothering about? Also when I respec anyone have any opinions on speccing CS to 50 or slash to 50.... I wont respec Thrust 50 as im a Briton and have a pre-nerf Diamond Dagger....

Im also thinking of taking a penalty in stealth to have CS 50 and Slash 50.... I havent rly noticed much difference with having 42 stealth and having 49 stealth after i bumped it up....

anyone got any views they can share with me pls

Im currently contemplating, wether or not i should go 50 slash, to get the Amyethyst>diamond chain.

On Characters of Camelot, they have put them on roughly the same damage output/endurance spend, as garrote/achilles.

anyone done this? What is best?

Well if its the same damage output and endurance then you may aswell go 50 CS...... then you get a better Perf....

Heres something I would like to put out there...

Lets take assasins, 5 spec lines they get.

The maximum (althoutgh unachievable) spec is 5x 50 Skill = 250

Is going 44CS, 44 Weapon, 34 Env, 36 St >>
goign 39 LA, 36 Axe, 32 Env, 37 Stealth, 34 CS???

cos I would expect 39+36+32+34+37 to be greater than 44+44+34+36

doing the maths its 158 Skill for the 1st Option (aka Critblade) and 178 for 2nd option (aka 5 Spec SB)

the maths seems to favour the 5 spec, so what is the reality???

Almost all infs i've spoken to who took 50 CS now regret it if they are thrust, many of them are respecing to 50 thrust.

Dragonfang > Ripper + slightly higher PA cap.

I'm seriously considering going to a natural 50 in CS with my nightshade. Hibernian Pierce skill has a style called Diamondback at 25 spec, which delivers a medium stun, so the plan is Evade-Diamondback- full Hamstring chain, shouldn't be too much left after that.

Only problem with this - my spec as envisaged left Pierce at 25 so I could get good Stealth and Envenom, relying on CS styles for my damage output. There's a sweet level 50 piercer, Dob's Bloody Fang, that requires 30 Pierce to equip...

Side note - my pierce skill has been at half my level all the way up to 28, which is awfully low for a NS, but the higher Envenom has made the difference, I've been able to solo orange mobs with PA, yellow cons without PA and solo'd a yellow con polearmsman in Thidranki (albeit that was way too damn close...)

im pretty sure gwens 44CS 50slash.. could be wrong though.

to be honest you might even consider 36stealth meatballs and 39evenom.

Gwens 50 CS, thats where this whole conversation started.. Im now in the thinking that if your thrust then 50 thrust is best but if your slash then 50 CS is best...... This being that if you have CS lower than slash your going to take quite a bad damage output penalty on every CS move you make.. so youll be reliant on amethyst slash/diamond slash combo... But if Liste is right that its no better than garotte/achillies then is there any good reason to switch to 50 slash over 50 CS? I cant see one....

Well I've been apondering this for ages now, and finally made my choice over the weekend.... I'm taking thrust to 50 rather than CS. My reasoning is more to do with my play style than maths and logic though... I tend to do a fair amount of general tanking for an Infil, and I rarely go solo in RvR... this means for me it makes sense to up my base/average damage levels rather than try and max everything on a single assassin-style 1 hit and run max damage figure.

That said, I reckon the thrust chain off evade could be good fun (even if the stun does get nerfed...???) and whereas earlier I thought 'chain off evade? I'd never use it' I tend now to evade a heck off alot and so I should get plenty of opportunities

A thruster would be gimped if he wasnt thrust 50. Just make sure you save your respec incase they do nerf the stun... I heard that it still works fine on the US servers, not rly sure of the whole story....

Can anyone confirm benefits of Amesthyst/Diamond Slash over Garotte Achilies??

Thorn, your better off speccing to RR4, gives you something to work towards when your lvl 50.
