That's one part I do like about WAR, or another one I should say, is that all you do is for "the greater good" for your side... If you do a PQ then a lot of ppl can get benefits for it.. or rvr and so on... the same with the guilds... you craft something that you can give/sell to the guildmates so everyone can do better achievments on the field... at least that's my point of veiw both in crafting and the game setting over all... all alone you'll be crushed but with 20 guildmates you can put up a match...
