Last couple of years I've stayed down in Devon has been near Bideford. Lovely part of the country.
Yep. Lovely.
Full of inbred, socially-cosseted, naive little racists tho
And you think the same should stand for Muslims who are legally allowed to stop working up to 3 times a day. I agree if you mean it should be one rule, but if you just think Christians have less rights to pray I disagree. If they're holding it on council time then we're paying them to pray.
They can GTFO tbfh. If they want to pray they can do it at home when they get up in the morning, or as a group before they get to work (and before their work hours) or as a group after work (as long as it's after their hours and work isn't done).
Work's work. Religion's religion. Separate.
Not taking sides but the cases aren't comparable. Council meetings had prayer as the first item on the agenda. Councillors are supposed to turn up for the whole meeting including the prayers, whether they're Christian or not. Of course they can sit there and be arsey but then they're not part of the club. Peer pressure and all that. And you think the same should stand for Muslims who are legally allowed to stop working up to 3 times a day. In my first post i said it should not be forced. I was questioning if everyone should be told to pray in their own time or just some groups. I agree if a council wants prayer meetings attendance should be optional. Not taking sides but the cases aren't comparable. Council meetings had prayer as the first item on the agenda. Nobody expects others to sit through Muslims prayers.

If you're religious you should not be allowed to work as you should spend all your time praying as you don't wanna miss out on heaven.
Also they should be near their religious brothers and sisters. We could build huge buildings where they live. Each would have a toilet and bed and for an hour a day they could leave their room to socialise.
