Still not anything to be too concerned about, as it happens with the flu jab every year.
Yep.

"Nothing to see here".

Both NHS workers have a history of serious allergies and carry adrenaline pens around with them.

Poor fuckers. It'd be horrible to live like that. :(

Yes scouses link was to a chick who has been used by anti vaxxers to try and discredit the vaccine.

mine was 2 nhs workers who were given the actual vaccine and had allergic reaction to it.
two different things.

What the fuck.
I thought it was already known that certain people couldnt take the jab and they are just letting people with significant allergies take the jab.

Isnt the Oxford vaccine for those people?
Theyre on tv now saying there were 130 allergic reactions in the trials and are they not fricking asking people if they have them??

An allergic reaction can be a headache or aches after a vaccination.

That's common to pretty much every vaccine. It's nowt to worry about.

Including breathlesness they said, though its hard to find any info.
Its just un fucking believable that they are advising people with severe allergic reactions not to tale it AFTER fucking dolling it out.

I read about this issue a few months back and its quite common especially with vaccines that have preservatives and animal products, but it seems to have bypassed the actual fucking nhs.
I really think we are going to see mass issues with the usual mob rolling over for compensatuon.

Um, that's a different vaccine from the one currently being distributed? Different company, different researchers - doesn't even work the same way.

awh people who go on international travel in a pandemic are upset that they cannot have their cake and eat it

Yet if they are rich business people, sports stars, work in media etc they don't have to quarantine at all, no matter where they fly back from. Doesn't seem entirely fair in my book.

Can't speak for all Sports stars, but I know all cricketers playing round the world at the moment are spending their entire time in "bio secure bubbles" where everything is cancelled at any sign of coivd. For instance the recent England vs SA series was called off cos 2 of the hotel staff in the Saffers hotel tested positive. But then for the England players flying home, they hadn't left their bubble, so no reason to quarantine. Agree with your point in general, but it's not as clear cut for everyone.

1 person got diagnosed with it last week at work, now a further 4 over the weekend...

Also one of the kids dads in my wife's class has got it so she is going to have to start remote teaching.

It's not getting any better, tier (whatever the fuck) or not.

I really really really don't understand why the Government didn't give a 2 week window to Christmas eve for every school in the UK, it just makes complete sense.

So instead of giving everyone a few days off there's gonna be a shit load of missing staff for a couple of weeks post Christmas.
