Nicola Sturgeon wants indyref2 'early in next parliament'
Scotland's first minister says a referendum should be held "in the earlier part" of the next Scottish Parliament.www.bbc.co.uk
except her. I saw a program where they think many who voted leave last time have changed their minds. I guess theres some on both sides though
What about it? We had a vote and a choice was made. They had a vote and the choice was made.Brexit.
You're criticising Sturgeon for something which you think could wait while "everyone's trying to deal with COVID" but on the other hand, the UK is about to barrel into something that Johnson and co could very easily have delayed. What about it? We had a vote and a choice was made. They had a vote and the choice was made.
Um in 1972 we voted to join the ECC not the EU.You're criticising Sturgeon for something which you think could wait while "everyone's trying to deal with COVID" but on the other hand, the UK is about to barrel into something that Johnson and co could very easily have delayed.
As for "they had a vote and the choice was made"... you don't think Brexit changed the landscape enough to justify revisiting devolution? By your logic, the UK voted to be a member of the EU in 1972 so they made their choice...

Scottish numbers are still going up aren’t they. It's a squirrel / dead cat to distract the faithful from
a) Her shocking handling of the pandemic (yes, worse than Boris) - Subscribe to read | Financial Times
b) The incoming shitshow between her and Alex Salmond - Nicola Sturgeon accused of 'cynical obfuscation' and 'sheer hypocrisy' over Alex Salmond inquiry

Paused the video - the waist circumference "normal" they've considered at 41.3 inches for men is hella huge. If you're a mail adult and have a waist over 36" you are bigger than you should be.
Looks like they've defined normal as "average" American - and since the average American is overweight or obese that's not really "normal" in a healthy sense.
But really, it's a very good (if strangely delivered) message. Good on him.
Interesting to see that only 12% of yanks are metabolically healthy - but that 70% of those who keep to a healthy BMI are. It shows that, for most, the efforts involved in sticking to a healthy BMI have payoffs in other areas of metabolic health. (most people who watch their weight will eat better and exercise - so blood pressure, triglycerides, cholesterol etc are positively affected).
