Way more justified than Iraq. It'd be like cutting a cancer out of the world's body.

Of course, it's never going to happen but the ongoing criminal atrocities that the state of Israel perpetrates coupled with the moral flips and twists we keep doing to protect it makes us "ill".
I don't get way more. Saddam gassed his own people and murdered and tortured them relentlessly. The Taliban in Afghanistan ran public executions without trials and untold other atrocities.

I'm not saying that the Netanyahu government are saints. Far from it. But it seems you've got massive double-standards to say that invading Iraq was wrong but invading Israel wouldn't be.

It's because I stand by my cancer analogy and what that means for us @Wij.

I don't disagree on your points - but the continued existence of this horrid little state infects global thinking in an insidious and incredibly unhealthy manner.

I consider that sickening global influence a more urgent driver than despots killing their local populations which, whilst utterly despicable (and still risks wider spreading), doesn't cause outsize global harm and 'poison the well' in quite the same way.

Where my cancer analogy falls down is that, with actual cancer, when it's spread to other parts of the body removing the source of the sickness is no longer an effective solution - it's too late once it's spread.

Not with this cancer though. Cutting it out would not only halt the continuing atrocities but it would benefit the whole world.

I could make similar arguments about the cancer of Putinist corruption and propaganda helping despots around the world and stirring up trouble and criminality globally but I'm not proposing an invasion.

You can't fix Russia with military intervention. It's too fucking big.

Did you all look at the Azerbaijani-Armenian war?

That was interesting in regards to Russia, Russia was arming Armenia whilst Azerbaijan had Syrian mercenaries on their side... I wonder who was arming them!?

Had daily calls with my Armenian colleagues about it. Lots of their families had signed up to fight.

Was very strange seeing first-hand how a people are indoctrinated by their government messages and how their sense of national identity seems to bring about a mental "gap" or blind spot. We're talking very intelligent, highly articulate very senior business people.

as long as we can get food and all its good. Just a pain waiting for pc components to be available hehe. But thats a want not a need.

Matt Hancock says hes very worried about new strain and the vaccine.

Experts are saying they can tweak in a day and have the new drug out in 6 weeks.

I think theyre priming us for bad news.

Only those fools from London ^^

Although I seem to recall a car load of oxygen thieves from Brighton thinking travelling to Wales during lockdown was acceptable.

Its so depressing, the beautiful forest is just full of toothless, trackie wearing morons.

I mean its nice they like a walk in the woods, but fuck off back to the pubs and football will you, so I can get some peace.

This should be fun, Trump probably thinks he is going to play Golf when Scotland is in lockdown.

Lets see if 'she' has the balls to stop him.

I think she would take great satisfaction in doing so.
