If staying in with a good friend or partner what things do you lot normally cook (and no lame comments - "I get take out!") and what wines are prefered?
Myself, I normally cook quite elaborate, as in time consuming, meals (for a lowly student anyways!!!) like a nice roast chicken and all the trimmings to if I'm feeling very fluffy such dishes like Peking style roast duck. Last night we had some nice Texan and Cajun chicken drumsticks with battered dippers and honey mustard sauce.
As for wine I don't mind red or white, but lately I have noticed it always seems to Australian Chardonnay, at least two bottles of the stuff.
