so the compensation should be asked from that router owner=)
That doesn't really matter if the router problem is in Sweden or anywhere else.
Quoting the General conditions:
Access to DAOC is guaranteed permanently, subject to maintenance and upkeep periods, operations to update servers and possible exceptional interruptions.
The interruption we are experiencing atm can possibly be described as 'exceptional'. Still it is GOAs (or Wanadoo's) responsibility to guarantee the service and even if it SEEMS to be a router problem in Sweden it CAN be a problem at Wanadoo end. I can connect to Sweden, just not to Wanadoo game servers...
Here is (again) the answer I got over 24 hours ago from RightNow:
'Greetings,
It seems that a router around Stockholm is having some problems and is
preventing many players from Finland to connect Dark Age of Camelot
(and other) network.
Our admins are checking if there are no problems on our sides and are
contacting the owners of the router.
Sincerely yours,'
And it is not just an exceptional 'interruption' if GOA is unable to allow acces to the game servers for over 48 hours. Besides, it is good business policy to offer customers compensation for a service they have paid for and have not received. A few free gaming days is not a big investment on GOAs part and will make many of those affected reasonably satisfied. This kind of gesture is all it takes to make many people happy.
Of course, there are those, who would be more happy with a rollback... How abou that
