Connection problem...

Well, basically just can't get past the Connecting to update server part... error msg 201. Nothing changed on the comp since last night, when I was playing Daoc.

pah.
run pingplotter and route cut after stk.alternet (sweden offcourse ).
cannot log to Prydwen, adress was 193.252.123.24.
instead when logging to excalibur/Orcanie, all goes fine!?
allmost same adres in excalibur but last numbers are .33
ping go thru this and show all are fine, but no luck whit prydwen.
2 time now load that dam game.dll patch?

are GOA keeping prydwen some test server?
cannot go even to daoc-euro home page.

Same probs and also DL'd new game.dll twice when I still could connect to update server. (not webby)

Now just a few minute ago I had thunderstorm here and disconnected my DSL box from wall and when I put it back... IP changed as usual but now I can connect to webby, BUT not to update server anymore. So the problem kinda got mirrored.

PS. Pempula, Masentaja, Noita sound like finnish names and Tuppe had 'manala' on sig... Is this Finnish only problem then? Because im from Finland as well. Using Mikkeli's own ISP. How about you?

i check guildpage, many are from Finland but nobody other complaining, lets see.

I live in Finland too and can't connect to the webby or Prydwen. Beginning to slightly piss me off. It stops at the part when the game launches and that connecting screen comes up... it retries a few times and says service not available (obviously it is though but just not to me).

When I ping 193.252.123.13 it will not get any response from this address onwards:

Stops to exactly same hop as SFXman has as last. Been playing with disconnecting dsl box and putting it back and getting some new IP's and everytime just 1 area seems to work. Once I get to webby only. Once thru updateserver but not through login server. Once thru update & login but couldnt connect to excal or prydwen.

Who can change the topic btw? Not familiar with this board stuff

I posted another similer post under prydwen hib...than i saw this post sorry for repeating myself but my friend just started playing for about 2 day until yesterday he couldnt connect...he didnt get an error msg like most of u guys but his com would hang when after keying in the password and u get the ..connecting to server...connected to server than it would hang

He tried reinstalling but than he couldnt even update..would hang half way again..

We are from singapore and i and another friend have no problems getting in the game only his other guys...

Anybody with a solution plz help : )

Yeah, I'm from Finland too... but it ain't it... 'cause one of my neighbour could play, with same ISP.. but I guess he had diffrent hostmask, it changes with kpnet/regionline. Daoc's homepage even worked at him.. and he didn't have any kind of problems with the game or homepages... odd I would say :O

So basicly I'm loosing more gaming time...

At 8:00 (gmt+2) the connection is still down at least here in Finland. Neither the game or daoc europa webpage work. Trace drops right after the alter.net.

No blaming anyone but this sucks big time....

Now I'm at work 8:51 (gmt+2) and I can get to camelot europa web page no problem. Unfortunaltey I can't try the game from here since we have a firewall.

its there where route is cut, or stockholm get but not forward.

and did you get to other servers?
i dont used autolog, choosed excalibur and made char there, all worked nice, but just dont get in to prydwen.

I can't even get past the patch screen, it gives the error 201. Has anyone succesfully contacted alter.net? I just sent a report to GOA RightNow with a link to this thread, let's hope they could give alter.net a push

9:17 am +2 GMT here in Finland and am still not able to connect to the server, the server being Prydwen.
I try the address 193.252.123.13 (the address my client connects to when logging on Prydwen) and it still stops at:

No change here . 24 hours since I reported the problem in RightNow, no reply from yet. Wanadoo is probably only one that can do something about this, there is really no solution that can help a single player. And, btw, most if not all people unable to play CAN connect to the game's homepage and RightNow, just not get past the 'Connecting to Update Server' part it seems.

I cant even get to Wanadoo so I can look for a link to GOA. IMO this situation sucks, we have no effective customer support except through RightNow which typically takes 48 to 72hrs to respond. How about opening up a telephone CS support line guys, hell...charge premium rates, youll earn lots of money. I sent an e.mail yesterday to support@darkageofcamelot.com and they sent me back a reply saying they couldnt help on EU server issues At least look at giving us e.mail support through something other than RightNow which only works if you can access the thing in the first place.

I can't connect to the RightNow service at all and I get stuck in the
Connecting...
Retrying...
Retrying...
Service not available part.

50% of the time I get stuck on the login server part where you enter your password. Updater works everytime.

Same problem here

What's weird on my case, is that I can connect to www.camelot-europe.com at home from 3 computers and from one I cannot. Only difference between them is the ip-address (same network address, isp and all though)
Can't get into game from any computer

Luckily the computer that runs automatic updates to my stats pages can access camelot web pages (for xml files)

I have exactly the same problems as you others. I live in Espoo and I use Welho as a connection. Problems started on tuesday morning and now 12.26 +2 GMT I have still the same problem. www.daoc-europe.com doesn't respond either. Updater is the only thing which works. I just bought this game on monday so kind a nice free month .

At school everything worked fine... this is weird.
