When relics started going neutral I started bugging people to go to the frontier but thats about as much as I was able to do. Trundled up and down Excal road and area a bit looking for stealthers and so forth in case we got lucky with relic as didn't think I could get anywhere fast enough to be of use. At that point I didn't know about the early Christmas presents.

Have to agree with Corr about the gloating thing and there is definately egg on one kobold's rather smug chin.

Yep, Alb didn't really deserve what it got tonight. Typical Hib mischief making. I hadn't seen the previous thread which sparked some of this off until I logged from game, but I'm sure things will change hands again... as they are meant to.

Well played Hibbies, thats a degree of mischief I'd have been proud of and wish I could talk people into. Its the kind of clever play that really has to be saluted and displays impressive sideways thinking which is the only thing that ever really impresses me.

To the Albs that were running around doing it all they do deserve some credit regardless - Ilum, Sheepie (Coran) and the others. I was getting relayed the goings on and was falling about laughing at my PC.

To the Mids - what you displayed tonight was Alb 2 months ago. Alb waking up again, even without tonight's rather bizarre events.

Snoz: if you had been paying attention, you would have seen our raid starting the second Dagda was secure. Fens lvl 10, CS inside. Nottmoor, Blendrake fall, Arvakr fall, hibs moving through hmg.

All this before 11pm BST, no more than 2 hours after I got spammed in /gu with guard deaths @ Dagda while in the middle of ML 8.10.

Talos killed, stuff the lootsplit, get to Dagda. Mids repelled, call went out for convokers to provide wood, meanwhile plans put into acton to get our power relic back.

60-ish Hibs through the Mid frontier, arrive Grall, take doors down, grab relic, return it. Then, just for badness and for spamming my chat window while trying to lead 8.10, it was suggested we take the str relics. That swiftly changes into "let's give the albs the str relics" which happenned.

All with a maximum of 4fg Mids making an effort to stop us. What was /who all at about midnight?

So please, in the future, wake up fully before starting to flame people. The entire thing lasted no more that 7 hours: from the guard deaths on Dagda, to the Albs capping the Mid str relic. And, ofc, it was all started by Mids.

Durgi got bored with whining, so he decided to take a relic and bring up his ego and down our guardnumbers.

Hibs defended, then went to take the 1 (one..) power relic back,

Then decided to try for the str relics aswell.

Got them, and handed them over to the albs?


Ah well, power relics is gonna be more fun than str relics, should be great getting them back

I've spoken to someone at goa about this and info has been passed on to server gm's. whether this is against COC etc we will have to see, but atleast they looking at it.

As a mid i feel rather cheated after all the hard work we did to get the relics, without any external help.
