Since Will has put up a poll all about tea, I thought I'd put up a poll for that glorious saviour of many mornings, coffee.

None of this namby-pamby wishy-washy dishwater that is tea. You need a *PROPER* drink that gives you a punch to wake up. I personally have my coffee a pint at a time in a mug *exactly* like this. Pete's Eats ftw!

Coffee is great at morning, tea is good later in the evening, icetea is perfect for summer.

I'm usually too impatient to wait for my coffee to cool, so i make it a lovely white'ish/brown'ish beyonce color

And add some artificial sweetener(go aspartame!) in there ofcourse.

A thick layer of Carte Noir instant in mug (just pour, maybe six spoons-worth, dunno really?). Fill mug half-way with hot water. Then fill rest of way with cold.

Strong, black, not milky, not sweet and lukewarm so it can be downed straight away.

Boiling hot coffee is retarded.

I have a bean mill and espresso machine. Currently drinkling Lavazza.

I drink quad-espresso's ususally. Sometimes I drink latte-macchiato. If I am feeling especially mellow, I will drink a cappuccino, but usually only with a glass of Pedro Ximenez

I've cut back drastically on coffee - it was giving me heart palpitations (seriously). One latte on the way in to work and that's my lot, which means my Lavazza espresso machine is gathering dust.

my drinking black coffee started as a student, i used to be of the milk and sugar brigade... then i ran out of milk... then sugar... i couldnt be bothered to go to shop so drank it black... and as they say once you go black...

That wasn't the coffee, it was the gut-induced fear of knowing since you moved "down south" here, that they could turn at any time and go all witch-burning on "the outsider" to cleanse the area

You realise espresso + milk is basically a latte or cappuccino? (Depending on the measures etc.)

Anyhoo, I like a brewed filter coffee black - no sugar, but generally I make double shot lattes and a squirt of syrup - I've got a load of coffee syrups so whatever takes my fancy.

Daily I use the machine, and the press for dem speshul occasions....


milk, sugar, black....I'll take any..but for gods sake dont pour cream in my coffee unless it's whiped and is ment as part of a coffee desert!
