Btw Mess im pretty sure u got stats on Eirenes wrong. Mine ingame says :

5% slash/thrust, 5% heal/buff

Sorry, but i fail to see why this is uber. Power pool at 39% is ok-ish i guess, but personally i'd want 45%+, even with JS. Cold, heat, body, slash and thrust i'd deffo wanna see at 24-25%+ Hps could be higher. Some nice artis but i don't think it's worth the sacrifize. Also keep in mind those 8% pp you got capped, but not used, would be worth more than alot of piety. I wouldn't worry about getting those 101 piety that much.

It's a nice template though :) Just not real uber imo.

And Kerith, wow, only 9% heat? :D Doesn't that hurt vs hib casters?

People make such templates with low heat percentage because they think they will get debuffed and nuked anyway which brings it down to 0% (which is not true) and they say theres hardly any Enchanters or (light)Mentalists around.
Wouldn't run without capped heat myself but hey to each his own ;)

Not at all, wtih 50% debuff and 10% pierce its pointless having any heat unless its 20%+ neway, as i couldn't do that i neglected it completely and boosted other stats. And besides, only time i die in fight is if the grp is dead or if i get zerged :m00: im never in the position to get nuked

I love it when people assure themselves in their own minds that a template is 'perfect', so back up its downfalls by talking absolute shit :p

You cannot say "I'm never in the position to be nuked" - bollocks. Sometimes, you are. You may as well remove all magic resists in that case because you're "never in the position to be nuked".

I've seen you die first plenty of times.

Evidently not, cos i dont ^^ anyone i play with will vouch for that. Regardless its not just about the positiong, its the fact that you will very rarely get nuked by a hib grp without heat debuff (unless its just solo eld, in which case im assuming hes gonna be light and i have capped cold). So with the 50% debuff and 10% pierce etc etc its pointless having any heat unless its 20%+, as i couldn't do that without sacrificing some things i thought a priority, i decided bumping other stats would be more useful. And im not saying my template is perfect by any means, but for my play style its very good :m00:

I think martok was refering to those resists. Coold Crush and Spirit need to be 23%+ I think most people would agree. Hits being -100 is in my books unacceptable in a template. Every template I make I am not happy unless it has 300ish hits in it.

I also think most clerics would probably agree 39% PP is a bit low. I don't have any templates on me atm to compare sorry, but just thought I would give my 2 pence.

And yes, mess has wrong stats on eirene's... not that it makes that much difference.

Crush resist 23% ? what ? X| 10% from chain.

Is 28 con more than 76 hits on a cleric ? I think it's not, so I would lower con and put in 76 hits tbh. An improvement to your great template MesS! Both 19 imbue. You also win something there: The HP can't be debuffed like con can 8)

It seems i need help understanding the resist, because i really cant see what remotely bad with them.

These are the actual:

Now comes the funkypart.
Croc Tear Ring conversion absorbs 5% damage after resists are factored in, effectively adding 3-4% to your total resists. So if you've got 26% slash resist and the conversion shaves 5% of the damage that gets through, you end up with an effective 29% resist. It only affects post-ablative damage, and works like a true 2nd tier resist (avoidance of magic).

With that factored in i end up with:

It looks good, but i would be very surprised if it had half the toys mine has.

And thats when personal preference comes in. 40PP is enough for me if i get a chance on powerless rezz or just a 10% chance not to use power, some feels 50PP is a must.
Some feels u need 280HP to compete, i figure if im beeing nuked or assist trained the difference between 2 meelee swings or 1 nuke is not gonna save me. A end charge, insta snare or conversion proc have a much better chance. Though i agree its abit more down to luck, and beeing able to use ur tools. Id rather have the tools to make a difference myself, though. :)

one of the better templates with ethernal plant ive seen. been trying to get it in for some time now but its just so damn hard if you want the 25% buffbonus (which our clerics dont wanna run w/o :twak: ). dont see why ppl even wanna compare their templates to your since they dont have ep in them.

Snakelord is nice if you like crab, i cba to run around with it, its too ugly. The necky is a must imo. You got 50+ PP so i guess u can go without Sash. Ctr is too good to leave out imo.

If you dont mind the Snakelord GFX, missing Ctr and swapping when buffing I made one a few weeks back with 50PP AND Jash.

Mess I confirm it! :) I got it at lvl 10, just logged in to check (like 5th time) it is 5% slash/thrust resist, 5% buff/heal bonus
