If they dont want ppl to macro maybe they should change the totally retarded crafting system and atleast make a feature like "create all" similar to wow.

yes it was macro crafint i got banned for. Macro tool abuse, to be more precise.
i know there was some discussion about ppl using radar along time ago. Groove ppl. Dont know if it was meant for me, but my name was mentioned. Not that it matters, but i never used, and never will use radar. My rps i have earned in an honest way, and actually did solo 2.5 mill on my runemaster before NF. anyway, when the radar accusations were sat out, i did reply being on a vacation for that 1 week when the post was made and ppl thought i was banned. well, not 1 week but 5 days. But yet, dont know if it was meant for me.

and to those who say i cry and qq, i dont rly, i said i got the punish i deserved. tho i think myself it was too harsh. but i dont come here to get sympathy from anyone, but to say that im gone the game with my chars.
And to thank ppl that i have played with and against.

Seems a bit rough - would have thought 3 day suspension with all crafting set to 0 would be enough first time. Perma ban if they do it again. Then again, GOA have said many times about using 3rd party progs...

There is no defense saying that he cheated because the crafting system is shit. Nobody forced him to craft, and alot of people have gained LGM through legit means. If you prefer the WoW crafting system, go craft in WoW.

At the end of the day the EULA states no 3rd party programs. You cheated and got banned for it. They have to perma ban someone cheating at crafting. If he just got a 7 day ban everyone would attempt to get LGM through a macro bot / auto mouse clicker etc as they know they would just get a 7 day ban the first time and then they would be able to carry on normally.

Well done admitting you got banned instead of a "I'm leaving post". RR9L8 was unlucky also. Can you make another account on your name, or have they banned your name?

I've got two LGM's, a few 600+ etc etc. Did it the legit way, but if I had the chance to do it over again now I would've never started in the first place. Gave me a lot of agony with Repetitive Strain Injury.
In my opinion crafting tools should be made legit as long as you can reply to someone within a certain time limit (say 10 minutes).
Would've saved me a lot of pain atleast plus cleaning because I found out that due to a crafting session I didn't have any strength in my arm anymore, when I picked up an open halffull pack of milk... Which thus ended on the floor.

I'd say either give "/autocraft (on|off|100%|99%|98%)" command or make crafting tools legit. Perhaps then I would actually use my LGM's again.

If I was running GOA I would give these punishments.

Macro Crafting - 7 Day Ban - Trade Skills Reset
RPT Farming - 7 Day Ban - Half the rpts on the toon reset.
Texture Abuse - 7 Day Ban - Toon rolled back to pre-abuse time
LOS Abuse (Bainshees/Necros etc) - Warning, if found to be doing again 7 day ban and final warning. (However this needs to be for BLANTENT abuse)
Radar - Instant Perma Ban, All accounts listed to that player.
Speed Hack - Instant Perminate ban on all accounts owned by the player.

After the 2nd/3rd punishment if they person was caught doing it again they would be perma banned.

If I owned GoA (Wannado or whatever) and you were running GoA, you wouldn't get the christmas bonus.

lol you sure make is sound like you download a zip file with radar/speedhack and macro tools in it... you can buy it in any software store and download them everywhere ya know. its not a "cheat", thing is its considered cheating if you use it for daoc but its just a regular office program.........

stealing an apple is against the law its as bad as killing someone according to ur standards! so use ur brain and see the point instead of doing pointless statements. i dont say that we are not supposed to be punished all im saying is that there should be an appropriate punishment for any given offense as it is in all rule systems as low as pool rules and as high as supreme courts.
