Sprouts, as long as theres sprouts I don't care. Oh yeah, and those little saugages wrapped in bacon.

And then plenty of left over Turkey and Stuffing so that i'll be eating it for days afterwards.

Simple tastes.

um well when I get to do my christmas dinner I like to do the traditional thing on the 25th, so it'll be:

Turkey
sprouts & chestnuts (if I can get some)
roast potatoes with sesame seeds
mashed yam
honey glazed roast carrots & parsnips
stuffing
gravy

I don't tend to take alcohol at Christmas either (maybe a glass of baileys or something in the evening but no more) but do like to have full fat milk (the one time a year I get it) cream soda and ginger ale...though if all goes according to plan there will be two of us at HQ this xmas so still waiting for any additional requests to be added to the menu :D

[edit: ooh and in the evening, when rolling about going 'ooow I'm gonna splode!!'...turkey sammiges  ]

Lots and lots of Stella Artois and Grolsch , and probably some food too ...

Edit: Ez you silly gurl , full fat milk is one of the few sources of healthy fats so you should always drink it :D

LOL well that's not hard, we can all predict that request: "Bacon wrapped in bacon, wrapped in bacon, cooked in bacon fat"

Got the in laws round.

Pheasant
Pigs in jackets
Sage Stuffing
Roast potatoes (in goose fat, naturally)
Honey roast vegetables

and as nobody that is coming actually likes xmas pudding I am making a yet undecided dessert, though I am thinking something with apples from the garden (have some left over in the freezer) and winter spices.

I am actually considering swapping turkey for fillet steak this year, know a nice butcher who does 30+ days hung and matured beef, the steak is immense and I know I will enjoy it more than turkey.

We'll go round to the inlaws for the usual turkey stomach-bursting fest. I've bought some absurdly expensive Christmas crackers, so there had better be bacon on that turkey, or I'm going to stick some C4 in the Xmas pudding.

P.S. Who the hell eats or likes Xmas pudding?

I really like turkey but tbh I have it fairly often so it isn't as special as it used to be. However a big juicy 400g 32 days matured fillet steak isn't something I have more than a couple of times a year and it is pant wettingly good.

I do, doused in brandy and cream.

I'll also be needing cheese (with some good stilton) and biscuits, and a good port to finish off with.

Roast turkey stuffed with sage & onion stuffing and sausagement, goose fat roast potatoes, honey glazed julienne carrots, sweet parsnip strips, sprouts*, sausages in bacon (pigs in blankets), with gravy gently poured over.
Cranberry sauce for those who want it.
* = optional

Homemade Christmas Pudding with plenty of brandy in the recipe, covered in brandy and set on flame before being served with double cream. Setting fire to the pudding is one of the things the kids look forward to about the dinner.

Coffee, conversation, board games and Doctor Who usually come after that.
Same again on Boxing Day, but instead of Doctor Who, insert James Bond. :)
