Downloaded some of the individual tracks suggested.

And will be sending me mum to pick up the albums, as she works in a library which keep a healthy collection of music

bah wazzerphuk beat me to sigur ros, i thought no one had heard of them. they're great, i saw the live at the radiohead concert in oxford.

oh and this thread seems about right to ask:

there was a track (at least an intro to it) on this ad for some documentary on cosmetic surgery. the show was called 'designer vaginas' ahem.. on ch 4. anyway the track there is used as a funky relaxed tune for lots of ads, none that i can remember but that one unfortunatley. There's no beat, no vocals, just a bassy mellow tune. buh do do de doo do de doo do. etc.

It has been doing my nut as it's such a good tune but i cant work it out! I went through loads of chillout albums and their samples on cdnow.com but came up empty. Please help!!!!!!11

Chilled Ibiza 1 and 2 are good compilations. And Moby has a fairly chilled out album by the name of "Play". Then there is of course Zero 7.:)

Their remixes of Hybrids' Symphony, Last Train to Lhasa, Mike Koglin and PFN own me. As far as JD's tracks go I love Propoganda, Virtua Trancer, Heaven sent and Expand the Room. Out of body rules too :)

Nath I think this track was Zero 7 - Give it away iirc

One of ther more Air-esque track I think

You lie. There is NOTHING better out there than MA.


If you want great chillout, try and find a Talvin Singh track called Traveller (Kid Loco) remix. It is one of the finest specimens of a chillout track ever.

The Michael Woods mix, yes. Mind you, you could have the worst artist ever do a version of that tune and I'd probably still love it :)
