The problem is that a lot of East London crime is black on black, if the police stop and search young blacks they get called racist, if they don't, they get called racist, they are screwed either way. The same is true of conflict between different asian communities, i.e. Muslims vs Sikhs, I have several asian friends who have been caught up in that either because they married the "wrong" person or lived in the "wrong" area, the police have to deal with each incident like they are walking on eggshells.

You have to remember that a minority element in what is already a minority are causing all the grief. There are several cases of a single young (white) offender finally getting convicted and thereby solving half of all crimes ! The same is true of the minority communities, what is bad is that they cause resentment and tar everyone else with the same brush, here in East London the anti-immigration crowd love to jump on these instances and cause even more trouble.

During the Osama bin Laden thing, a resident mullah restarted his hate campaign in the local mosques. one evening he was mysteriously set upon and badly beaten by members of his own community, they don't like it any more than the "outsiders" do.

P.S. Charlton, I'd swap your golf club for something a little more manageable, they are difficult to swing in enclosed areas

I WAS INVOLVED IN TEH HIGH SPEEDER CHASE ON MEH ROAD!!!
i was nearly run over (again in the space of a few weeks, someone must'nt like me) by a high speed maniac who then skidded all oover the road and went the wrong way through a junction, a few secs later the local chopper went flying by and about 3 police cars!!
look out for me on Police camera action soon!!

p.s. i've swapped the golf club for a piece of drainpipe filled with sand, its small but deadly, hahaha!)
