anyway back to my story
a shitload of middys appear, at least 20
they stop and look at us

All realms have xp killed/been xp killed. If you dont want these things to happen stay away from frontier zones, and yes DF is a frontier zones.

You exp in the frontier (DF being the frontier in this case) you run the risk of dying to invaders. Exp death or not.

If you don't like it, exp in mainland. Simple.

Usually I don't kill greys (unless there's a group and I can see my mjolnir in action) but someone was gonna get the rps.... might as well be me. Got to RR3 L4 that night.

There is no unspoken code of honour btw. There's 2 views. Enemy, and enemy that is no threat. Some kill both, some only kill one type. I'm impartial - depends on what i feel like

Besides, it was a zerg.... zerg culture involves zerging.... can't have duels while in a zerg

STFU Albs and check what your own realmmates are killing on a regular basis (daily groups headed to Hib entrance to kill the lvl 20's there).

As has been said, it's a PvP zone. You die.

So what if people don't get RP from giving others XP deaths? It means that they lose XP and take longer to hit 50 and become more of a threat.

Nothing has EVER stopped an Alb killing me in DF, on any of my characters. Therefore, nothing will ever stop me from killing them.

In fact, nothing I like more in DF than to run into the middle of an Alb XP group and pbaoe'ing them to hell while they are distracted by the mob. Nice few RP and XP, and sometimes free loot!

I would like to complain about the Mids too.
I was out in the frontier(hadrian)..and...and..did my evning joggin to keep in shape...then I hear Trolls at Castle Sauvage.
Since I thought hey a troll?? My mom always warned me about trolls in the woods as a child so i thought I go check this out a free freak show.
So I start to run off towards there, and I figure hey lets try some new nice routes, and what happens I run into some invis mobs??!! WTF Mids its your fault, why were you at castle sauvage, you owe me 15gc for buying con back.

Honour

I think there is some honour in the game - although as with most real wars this goes out the window when it comes down fighting other players. The idea is to kill the enemy before they kill you right? Imagine ye olde knight out wandering the woods patrolling and he comes accross an invader fighting, I dont know, a lion. Does he wait until he has finished or does he pounce in and kill the invader before his friends turn up? I know what i would do. I've never been in the situation so I dont know what happens - does the mob turn aggro on the knight or not?

Honour within the realm is different - as a cleric I am often told to run if a fight goes bad so I can return and rez but I rarely do so - I will die with my party or save them (usually save them). Depends on the cicumstances I guess - if there are no other rezzers even remotely close maybe I would. Not sure if thats honour or not but there we go

Why the whining. If you xp in the frontier there is a risk of getting xp killed, that´s the way it is, I´ve been xp killed lots of time but the only thing I do is either hit my little brother or I just sigh, It happens learn to live with it.

But a very wierd thing has happend to me in the frontiers 2 times now.

First time I was xping in uppland, after killing a halffrozen-madman I ran a bit and then I sat down to rest, after resting for like 30 seconds, a alb stealther stabbs me in the eye and I die, but the funniest thing is I lost xp. (Isabel I know you didn´t mean to xp kill me )

The second time I was xping in uppland again on snowcrabs, while I was killing one 2hibs ran up to me, and waved prolly waiting for me to kill the mob, after I killed the crab I sat down to rest and the Hibs didn´t touch me, but after sitting down for like 10 secs a lil Lurikeen came and stabbed me, and I died and lost xp again!

So is this a bug, or is this the way its supposed to be ??
