ok so who is the Sorc annoying to.. i want to bully elves and get easy kills![]()
I had a 1 on 1 earlier tonight in high elf tier 1 rvr zone with my rune priest vs a zealot
we gave up after 15 minutes
Healer vs healer 1on1 is always a stalemate if you don't make mistakes (atleast on lower levels, dunno about higher).
The combat healers like Warrior priest will generally beat the runepriest/zealots though as we cant keep up with their dps.
My bane class as a zealot is the witchhunter - I have no real defense against them their sustained dps is just too high - maybe there are tricks at later levels but so far its no contest at all.

but i never run away, i just stand there tapping my buttons and trying to cast...
I guess this is my downfall.
On a personal note I would like to see all casters ground into the dust for payback at being such retard mode in DAOC![]()
We had a few runs in morkauns temple with two sorc's. their damage potential with some healage is awesome, the consistently finished top of damage / death blow counts.
As zealot, witch hunters are hell, I wouldnt even try to fight em, just run for your life, i think its much the same for any caster when they come up against them.

This needs fixing imho.. Should get some sort of imunity buff if you´ve been rooted before, within a sertain amount of time. I seem to remember this was how those things was fixed before..
Maybe this changes at higher tiers, who knows.. Just really annoying atm.
I believe they do have some sort of diminishing returns on CC....at least numerous abilities reference it. I have yet to actually see it kick in though.
Which says really nothing at all if you're consitently fighting randoms.
randoms fighting randoms, both have the same advantages (?) and disadvantages.....
It simply an observation I have made through t1 and t2 scenarios, any time a relatively sensible sorc gets relatively sensible support they finish consistantly high.
