330 hard cap for str and then your max lifter on top 5 lots of 20% bonus it should be around 950 off the top of my head.

Lifter is 10% per lvl = 50%

There are no hardcaps on stats, only diminishing returns which isn't valid when it comes to Enc points. You don't get less enc per str point at higher lvls iirc.

Those diminishing returns only 'comes live' when the stats are used to modify damage calculation etc..

Strength, dex etc does not give you any noticable boosts in damage at points above 300, and quickness does not boost your swings or bowshots noticably at points above 250.

i would disagree with that. i evade a lot more with buffed dex and qui (i have capped dex\qui, and had +10 to dex\qui at the start as a keen), aswell as swinging a lot faster. with buffs i swing a 3.6spd weapon as fast as a 2.2 spd

Ofcourse you do, I think you misunderstood, what I am talking about is after buffs. You won't get 300 in any stat with just items. You need buffs to reach such high numbers.

He's on about enc cap not str cap.

If lifter is 20% from your str every level then its double the hard cap, 660, if its 20% on top of its self every level then its 900 odd.

carrying cap is 300. 350 str doesnt allow you to carry any more than 300 without being enc still.

but there isnt any cap as long as you obtain the items by tradescreen
