Tell me about it, ever since my niece has been born shes been in and out of Birminghams children hospital (mainly in) diagnosed with Chronic Mylomonocystic leukemia. Its so rare that less than 6 people in the US get it a year and even less in the uk.

Still cant grumble, her bonemarrow is at 100% now and its gonna be harder to go down again the longer it stays up. I love that kid, did a bungee for her too Shell be celebrating her 4th soon and she doesnt even know shes been ill

I know of a fair few bad cases involving friends and family etc that havent gone as well so yeah, cancer is indeed horrible and to watch her fight it like she has has been is inspiring to say the least.

personally though I would have said mental capacity of an amoeba, newts are probably intelligent creatures whereas single cell organisms can't be too clever.

A friend of my mums had breast cancer and it looked like she would get through it....unfortunately the cancer got the better of her.

2 of my uncles have died from Cancer, and a sound recordist collegue of mine has only months to live from it. I went for a drink with him and some friends the other night, he was in a wheelchair with a hospital employee helping him.
