Can you use poison on cross-bow bolts ?

Anyone know if an infil can poison mobs by applying poison to the xbow ?

I've managed to apply the poison but doesn't appear to actually poison the mob. Just wondering if I'm using the wrong combo of poison / xbow.

u can apply it but it wont do any good

Poison the actual x-bow and it works for one hit iirc

It was added briefly at the start of the assassin love patch for Infs
Then removed before making it to live servers

The problem was, if an Inf could fire mezz poision, lifebane, or str/con debuff etc from range
What could Mythic possibly give Shades and Shadowblades to even it out?

So they scrapped it.

woulda been really fun for infs...just perma have crippling poisen on crossbow, then if ANYONE tries to run away, just 1 shot and problem solved.

they do have a DoT spell now tho dont they? least i remember reading something about it.
