Should probably ask on hardware forum but I can never right click and download anything from a browser properly. it always downloads "untitled.bmp" and with animated gifs it just saves a single frame

I used Adobe's ImageReady. Dunno if you can do it in Photoshop, but ImageReady seemed to do the job well enough.

I tried and failed to do it in Photoshop but Imageready was good for the animation side of things. You can 'jump to' Photoshop though to do the imagey bits, which is easier.
