Camelot event?

INFO i've managed to gather so far:

The Round Table is testing people to see whether they are worthy enough to sit in the Siege Perilous.

There is an old lady, by the fountain next to the tailors.

She rambles on about her cat Whiskers.

Whiskers is an NPC cat, he doesn't like to eat meat, but if you feed him some fish he will follow you around :)

There are also 3 kids, running around dancing and saying people smell of fish.

If you say "sop" to them they say something like:

"OK, we'll stop. But you still smell of fish! ha ha ha ha"

Along with the fishmonger merchant, there is also a bucher at the tailors now.

Characters tried on the table so far:

50 theurg
50 pala
50 merc
5 scout
1 fighter
1 acolyte
1 elementalist

Can't think of anything else right now.

If anyone has any more info, please post here and we can try and crack this event :)

You can buy the fish...... maybe if the fish is used in a certain place the cat will appear............ and what about the Royal Jester? Hmmmmmmm...........

Cat is there. Just all the moving chars are buggy and go throught walls etc

Feed it and it will be your friend for life :)

Or until it gets bored and runs off :)

Buy a fish from the merchant next to the tailor's

Run around cammy until you get a message about the cat looking at you, or it miowing

Then look around for it until you find out (can be hard if its in a wall)

Give the cat the fish as you would any other item to an NPC

If its hungry it accepts and starts following you around :)

goa have been adding things to camelot for over one and a half years now, the librarian coughing, the jester, the fish merchant... why is a cat, a butcher and an old lady suddenly part of an event that must be solved?

edit: and if it is an event, i pity whoever writes them

take fish , lure cat to dartmoor , let the cat eat the Dragon , charm cat , go to emain,Cats eat Hibs and Mids, take cat back to camelot , 1000 P rewarded

Wakes up....

Because it also involves the camelot round table, elecrocuting people, sending them flying through the air, then telling them they aren't worthy.

So gotta be some test or summit somewhere to find out what to do :)

The kids react to a player of the inconnu race. They're reacting to the fact that inconnu look like fishpeople :D

Spent an hour so far running around. No joy yet.

Also tested on the table:

level 3 rogue
level 50 Armsman (me, not worthy ! someone will pay for this).
level 50 Cleric.

I was wondering if the Table is unrelated and just a touch of atmosphere GOA have added to add some mystery and enigma to the Round Table.

As for the children, now when you talk to the lead boy he says something about wanting Candy or a big sword, yet wont except short swords to long swords or a two handed sword, all merchant ones not drops, nor will he accept the cakes the guy in cotswold gives you.

I found dropping a fish on floor near the cat gets a response from it and giving him a fish I got a 'gnawed fish' back.

As stated above, Granny Susan says the cat is hers and she doesn't like the butcher, who in turn doesn't like the fishmonger.

Has anyone tried leading the Cat back to Susan? I meant to try but did not get round to it.

Susans dialogue does go a little into Arthurs history a quick story of one of her relatives, may be something in that.

Be careful where you lead the Cat by the way, it seems to have problems navigating walls occasionally and gets stuck.

43 minstrel also can't stand on the table.

Have tried leading the cat to susan and to the butchers. Have even tried asking the butcher about cats, catmeat, fishes and fishmonger. No joy.

i lured the cat to Fish dude, Granny and the butcher didnt get any response, i even took the cat to the round table, and merlins tower. didnt get anything.

round table gets on about your good deeds, so ill stand next to it tonight and everyone can donate some cash to me, then try your turn on the table. give me enough cash and you might be accepted. :)

Hmmmmm.... Have you tried to give him a crafted 'Toy sword'? The ones you can make in woodworking, the wood trinkets.

Just for those too lazy to look up themselves....

The judging at the table is to sit at the Perilous Seige, which was the seat at the round table that was said to have always been unoccupied, with the only person worthy enough to sit on it being the one knight destined to quest for the holy grail. If you werent that person then it would do you no good, (like smite you and drop you from the air near it ;) ). It was eventually filled by Galahad who was the knight who found the grail. So whoever (if anyone) gets judged well, then they have something big to do....

Oh and I'm not worthy :(

Anyone had any success with finding out more info on this strange event?

I tried to make the cook in Cotswold make me deer haunch cooked with sage for an hour but he wouldn't listen to me. Tried giving wine to the drunken jester...but he didn't want it. Tried to take the cat to the butcher...he ignored it (thank god).

I haven't found any candy sellers to appease the annoying children though. Anyone else had any luck?

Does Akai the Prophet still wander around talking garbled crap?

Perhaps there was a plot of the Butcher to kill Whiskers but Akai ate the poison meat and now he's having a trip or something. And those kids also ate some meat and it stopped them growing in proper proportion to the rest of Albion. And erm...The table is actually the very first microwave designed to heat the food to the proper temperature to destroy the poison.

I'd like to see someone else come up with a more plausible solution because, quite frankly, I don't think there is one.

P.S As is common in such things, Whiskers is a prince(ss) and when kissed, will revert to his/her true form and marry the person who kissed them...or something.

Wake up guys. It`s a GOA event only made to fool ppl into playing more. ( getting them more money )
My guess its an unfinished event made by some customer supporter, who where doing everything else then supporting the customers.

And yes I got owned and is pissed at GOA.

found the easiest way to find the cat, use the fall thru floor Glitch @ the alchemy table, then look ur camera around till u see the little kitty. and go towards the general direction of the cat. Then keep smacking /face till you find it.
