Nirvana were one of the most influencial bands of their day, they paved the way for a hell of a lot of new ideas. If you ask me your the 'narrow minded' one.

It’s the saddest when somebody makes a statement that they aren’t something (stereotypical), and then just proves how much they know about music (in this case) by claiming this group is ‘the best’. Basically all the shit you say you are not, you are (stereotypical).

Try looking ‘past’ 1990’s before you say what has already been done is new. When the only thing that rings true, is that it is brand new for you.

Saw them live at Reading festival ('92 if I remember right) - stunning show they put on. The records/cds didn't do them justice.
