I am intrested in leading a Caer Sidi raid. as i mentions in the topic i will run one at thursday 14th september.
We wil meet at Fort Gwyntell at 19:00cet(18:00gmt)
make grps before that so we can leave on time
My Personal mission is to kill Apoc
has only been killed once(?) on albion/exc wich was old si
should be a piece of cake with all arti's/ml's now
Bring the most usefull class u can bring

Is it going to be free-for-all or class-specific (allowing rolling for an alt?) as this may influence if I can be bothered to turn up.

Dont really want to spend 2 hours for this to find you have preclaimed half the loot. Please explain before hand and stick to it. The only point in doing a Sidi is loot really....

there are plenty of nice drops , even with toa/cata
some examples:
Reactive heal procs u can add to ur crafted armor
Spectral Soul Anchor
Class Spec. Torso's with 180pt heal procc
Thrust sword with haste procc(livid silencer fang(or smthing))
+other nice things

Theres a reason for this . Its because Sidi is one of the shittiest Dungeons in the game for Pathing / Wall bug issues on the mobs. I have lost count the number of raids being called off bcoz of the mobs running into the wall and just staying there. Normally its the first boss. Though last raid we did we got to Bane and he decided to go for a walk through solid rock and never came back

But ill come anyway cos i like the challenge. And a screenie of apoc would rock hehe

I was on the first Sidi raid that killed Apoc on Excalibur; didn't know it was the only time he was killed though(?). That raid was a joint SS and GoL alliance raid organized by Pin and Daivana and actually had a relief force joining us halfway through for the latter mobs.

I know why class specific was invented, I just never met anyone saying, YES I want classspecific. Usually it just go to scrambles, because ppl dont bring the calsses needed, or raidleader have forgot who rolled for what alt.

If people WANT classspecific, then fine by me, But if people dont want, then why do it? Is it because raidleader thinks he knows better what people want then they do themselves?

Last I did SIDI i lost an item because raidleader forgot I rolled for reaver and not the cleric I played(because they needed cleric) and thats plain annoying.

Mostly the "greedy" people tends to farm GoV and CS, just look at Flameboys CM for example. they dont go on a full SIDI raid and roll with 50 other ppl.

This is just IMHO ofc. I will still attend classspecific or not.

Other than maybe 2 or 3 items almost all the sidi loot isn't going to be in someones toa'ed template.

If you want to get rid of items off CM's try stopping everyone turning up with an arti weapon rolling for any weapons that drop. Or anyone with GOV, eirines or GSV rolling for the tops. It's simply not going to happen.

The only people who benefit from class specific rolls are the people who choose to roll for an unpopular class.


Getting slightly more on topic, what's the minimum level for being allowed to lotto (i.e. will my level 48 theurg qualify?)
