[C05 Raid][P] Thu 27th July @ 7pm gmt

Last Thursday's successful, happy and pleasant raid had more applicants than there were places - a bigger response than I'd expected. As I had to give preference to those who had signed up, some had to be disappointed. There'll be another one along on the above date at the above time. Sign up and be one of the first 16 to be sure of a place - we take 2fg. BBs welcome for this phase. Class doesn't matter but I have to get as many Healers as we need (see below) and remember some bosses charm pets.

A word about the follow-on from C05 : Utgard Lok. Getting there can be done with just 1fg, though 2fg are better. After Legion 'I drop Skull of the Soulkeeper' the next section is Instance - 1fg and no out-of-group BBs. Experience tells me that 3 tanks, 2 Healers and 1 FoP shammy are required as the skeleton of the group, so I try to build Group 1 on that basis from the start. Simple arithmetic then kicks in, and if 2 groups are to do Ut, then 4 Healers would be needed to be there when starting Ut. I count Valks and Thanes as tanks, and yes, we kill Legion instead of avoiding him.

We meet in Halls of Helgardth which you can reach by taking the Audliten road out of Vasudheim to the milestone at the Mularn turn-off, then heading directly West into the snowy hills. Portal is in the second dip.

BG will be on Morigon-p about 30mins before start time.

Not only is this bad manners, it means some will now have to make yet another hard decision. Couple this with the fact that I can see NOTHING for Friday the 28th, you can understand why I am a lil bit irritated. And he's making pre-claims cos he desperately wants Nosoden's remains. I've done over nosdoden, was nowhere near as fun as doing over legion, and i've never seen the other mobs so for me there was no choice. And as for remains, some peeps just like em, personally i don't give a crap because no one comes into my house anyway. I was among the first mids to ever do over the rift in euro, do i care about a trophy? no because i can say i was there and i did it, which is more than any trophy will tell you. Trophies are sold on cm's each day, hell i could buy loads of em now, doesn't tell you anything about the type of player I am

You get 'twats' (your term, not mine) everywhere. There's nothing special about Prydwen or Excalibur in that respect. You missed the point in this post, but hit it square elsewhere in your comments about raid co-operation. I don't give a flying finger what server, or former server, people play on - I complained about 2 guys (who happen to be on Excal - they could just as easily have been Pryd) riding rough-shod over posted raid times.
And, for the record, there aren't any raids that are 'mine' as you imply. I make no distinction when I compose the groups. Come one, come all. I am perfectly aware of shortage of players, which is precisely why I started these comments in the first place.

You will note that I have not tried to offer you gratuitous advice, and I politely request that you don't try it again with me - unless it be in the spirit of a genuine attempt to enlighten. I don't have anything to 'get over' or 'move on from'. That sort of American psychobabble cuts no ice with me.

So, please, get off my back and direct your jibes towards those who are at fault.

So far we got 11 signed up + 1bb. We still need active seers and a few more of any class to make 2fg. Valks and Thanes are ftm due to COTS. To do Utgard it is safest to have 2 healers and a shammy. BBs won't do as it's instanced.

All being well, others will turn up on the night, and if all above do we will still do each boss twice, regrouping whilst waiting. An active shammy or two would be a great help and we may alter Gp1 for Utgard to accommodate players who need the enc.

Sorry about the flame post, but cross-raiding annoys me more than a little. I may not have made myself 100% clear judging by some of the reaction, but I have nothing against Excal based players in general. Without them C05 raids would be a great deal less frequent. Some of my best friends etc......

This was the part I was refering too, I used the word "twat" instead of "pratt", for this I appologise, but when cluster first happened there was a string of this kind of attitude from Pryd players about us "excal ones", while this hadnt raised its ugly head in some time, a few of us were not happy to see it back again.

Ah. Sort of explains things. To me a 'pratt' is a sort of fool - and semi-joking. A twat is a totally different term, highly offensive imo and not a word I'd let my Dad see me using.
Just for the record, as I've said elsewhere, I did NOT mean to imply that all Excal players were some sort of low-life, and that Prydwen had some sort of superior beings playing on it. I may have been unlucky, but the (very) few run-ins I've had since clustering have been with Excals - but equally alot of the larger raids done these days would be impossible without cluster co-operation.
I didn't really want to be clustered (being mainly a PvE player) as I felt it may well have been a commercial decision by GoA, but now it's here I'm more than comfortable with it. My beef, if any, is that there was no upgrading of the ME idea at the same time. Why isn't it possible to search both servers in a single sweep using a 'choice' button? How they go on in the US with up to 8 servers in a cluster I can't imagine. If it's the same as for us Euros, looking for best-priced items must be a long haul.

We do Utgard if we can. Legion is easy enough to kill and drops a uber jewel, Skull of the Soul Keeper, so we don't normally run past him.

Damn, I am sorry. I aint ratting out on yer, I tryed my best but despite dinging Co3 yesterday, I can't complete the quest to get on to Co5 q. Seems while I was doing the 40 bit of it in the second bit, there was a rather large bug that I found in the q and I am currently having GoA look into it. They seem to be taking their merry old time about it too. Which makes it unlikely, even if they fixed it rightnow zzzz bad pun that I would make it.

Yup that jewel sounds handy for templates. I've seen it in a few SB Ones. I'll try and rush home and see if you guys are still in there :> Hopefully people will be queueing up to cycle FG's through the Legion room and through Ut-lok.

I imagine if there aren't enough seers, they'll go through the final run several times so that everyone completes the encounter
