Yep your allowed to have your hands up while jumping, however as the goalie vaguely attempted to go up terry was coming down with his arms across the goalie's shoulder. Goalie couldn't jump even if he had been able to, so ref blew.

Whether linesman saw an offence or not doesn't count, its whether the ref felt he saw something that matters. Ref didn't have the advantage of a load of action replays to be so sure of his call, from where he was standing he prob saw terry coming down on the goalie and the goalie falling.

The ref is now trying to cover himself by saying it was an earlier push he blew up for..... Didn't see anything myself and why didn't he blow it earlier then...

If you look at the refs position at the time he wasnt in teh best position, had obstructed view and was very fair away. Ref bottled putting the hosts out tbh, and if i remember rightly it was a Swiss Ref that sent Beckham off in France 98 and also the same Ref same game that disallowed Cambells match winning goal vs Argentina.

Ive seen fair worse things get nothing, just shows how little UEFA and FIFA have done to improve there standards in the time frame of 3 major tournamants. Even tho they have claimed they will be tougher for this tournament.

Yep. Campbell is just not meant to score a winning goal for England. Couldn't believe how well he played last night though, him and Ashley Cole were brilliant. Campbell was anywhere and everywhere that their might be danger throughout the game and Cole had Ronaldo in his pocket for most of the game. Brilliant defending really, just a shame Sven felt the need to put so much responsibility in their hands for 90-odd minutes of the match.
